This video gave me goosebumps. I recently visited Iceland in the 1st week of July and witnessed the solidified lava of this volcano. The lava was still hot inside, however we could touch and feel the rocks. It was an amazing experience!

Great documentary. Correct me if I'm wrong. Looking at past videos there were 7 cones (lava vents), five fizzled out. The big one here was actually two vents side by side that opened as one. I have not seen a video of when they merged together.
Yeah it was constantly evolving in the beginning. This was all shot in late May
Almost, the vent that is currently erupting is the fourth or fifth to have opened, the first two, Norðri and Suðri, have been engulfed by the lava flow of the current vent and are/were slightly south of the current vent. You cant see them anymore

Sure, the sceneries and shots are magnificent, but the fact that Attenborough narrated it gives it a totally different "feel" of much more professional quality.
But it isn't David Attenborough.
And he definitely wouldn't say "unPREEcedented".

Well done! I just got some epic footage of Fagradalsfjall from July 2 and I have no idea how to pair it with music because how do you find music that is worthy of this kind of event. Well, you did it! You picked perfect music, wrote beautiful words and found the perfect voice over actor, not to mention including humor. (It took me a good bit of practice to finally figure out how to say it). Almost as hard as Eyjafallajokull. 😂
