    I thoroughly enjoy watching your channel. Your narration is rock solid and you make it easy to understand the process. Sometimes those explanations result in me realizing I need to hire someone and not attempt that particular project . I've been saying for years that mobile homes are the last affordable housing for home ownership. I'm glad folks are spending the money for proper upkeep. SFH and apartments here south of Atlanta and close enough to commute to the city run way over $1000/mon. Last SFH I rented (5 years ago) was $1450/mo.

      If you notice I use 16 foot pieces and I carry them up on my shoulder. If you were to try to make it in one piece my guess is it would be a little more difficult. But it can be done you would have to put two ladders up fold the rubber up at the bottom of the two ladders. Make sure to secure the top of the ladder so it does not slide. Each person would grab a corner and walk to the top of the ladder and then just accordion style pull it up to the roof

    I installed a roof hatch on a rubber roof. I cut through the 1× and a layer of roll roofing. I was quite surprised to find a layer of sand, another layer of a roll mineral, then partial board covered with rubber. I estimated $20,000 to remove and replace it.

    Question: If that adhesive will stick to anything then why not put the drip edge on first then glue the membrane down over it instead of gluing down the membrane first then the drip edge and then seam tape?

    • @Just-Stuck
      @Just-Stuck Рік тому +1

      Because with single ply you always put drip in the middle

    • @Drewsroofingandhomerepair
      @Drewsroofingandhomerepair  Рік тому +2

      The Rubber Hass to go first because if you put the drip edge down first and there is any water intrusion anywhere it will go right into the facia metal very important to put the rubber down the drip edge and then a cover tape over the top very important to follow the steps that I took or it will not work. Everything needs counter flashing and that’s what we do I promise if you do it the other way you will regret it

    • @Drewsroofingandhomerepair

      Epdm black
