I'm still torn up about the fact that we didn't get the Fusion suit for Prime remaster. If I were Retro or whoever worked on the remaster project: I would've happily added the Fusion suit, Dread suit and the Prime 3 suit as a bonus for completing the game in hard mode as well as collecting data from the game. I feel like we need more bonus content.
If they updated the model to not look as janky as it does, mainly how thin it looks- bulk it up like they do with its more modern designs and just- up its detail.
One small detail I noticed with the Phazon suit is that it's lights blink, unlike the Gravity Suit's which remained steady. It works really well, red blinking lights are a universal sign that something is wrong, which is fitting on a corrupted gravity suit.
I personally think the Fusion Varia Suit is fantastic. It's such an ugly melt sorta thing, and the more you look at it, the more wrong it feels. Its awfulness actively serves the story of Fusion.
Still sad we didn't get remastered versions of the Prime Fusion Suits in Prime Remastered. Feels like it's missing content despite being the best version (IMO). Maybe they can patch them in later? That's wishful thinking though.
I HAVE A THEORY NINTENDO IS GONNA REMAKE FUSION ON THE SWITCH AND AFTER HAVING COMPLETED FUSION AND PRIME THEN YOU GET TO ACCESS THE BONUSES FROM THE ORIGINAL!
@@WHAT_THE_FUCK_IS_A_KILOMETER69 Bullshit. Fusion is on Switch Online, they'd just need to update Prime Remastered to hook up with the GBA software or maybe just to unlock that stuff for people with a one-time Expansion membership, because they have access to the GBA library - meaning Fusion - by default.
Prime's Gravity Suit is the best official Gravity Suit design, ever. Nothing beats it, it is just perfect, so perfect that only AM2R completely replicated that same design in its 2D art style, down to even having the same blue visor and lights (Samus Returns did give it blue lights, which is excellent, though I do feel the Prime 1 and AM2R design is the best one of them all); while all other 2D Metroid games post Prime 1 had it with the green visor and lights (Zero Mission's design was still great though).
@@hellzonefirebrigade3056 Oh I like all Gravity Suits, save for two: indifferent towards Fusion's, hate Other M's Gravity Feature. Dread's is awesome looking, but I think Prime/AM2R's Gravity Suit design is the best looking.
Prime gravity is weird to me, on first glance or briefly seeing it in game it looks good, but once i look at it more seriously and notice the details, i can't help but dislike the yellow in the middle, feels like someone repaired a damaged car illegaly by putting the wrong doors and roof on from another car. Would have been better to keep the legs all blue, and maybe change the tone of the yellow so it isn't just varia with extra steps
I only have two gripes with the Prime Fusion suits: the blue visor on the omega suit, and the fact that the morph ball doesn't change with the spider ball
Black and red is such a W combo... But add the light diffraction aura??? With the aura actually creating warping ripples on footsteps during certain cutscenes? (See Thardrus intro cutscene when you have phazon suit with randomizers or cheats) Damn boy you may have won metroid suits. I just wish there was a liiitle more red. Fully corrupted PED and dread's gravity can be better depending on the context you use them in, but this is just always cool no matter how from where you look.
I never liked people calling the final suit in Fusion "the omega suit" because it has nothing to do with the Omega Metroid. Nintendo could have named it the "SA-X suit" or "classic suit".
I guess we could've gone with the SAX suit since the SA-X parasite gives it to you but it doesn't really roll of the tongue quite as well as the Omega suit.
Hey um...is it possible for you to review the beta prime suit pls?...it's my favorite look and it's proportions are just right...I can't unsee samus's monkey arms...
I don't see what people see in the P1 Varia Suit. On paper the changes are stellar, but the execution is just... _off._ The proportions make it look uncomfortably top-heavy, and the visor (for all of them, honestly but it makes sense to complain here) has this weird... _puffy-cheek effect_ to it. It's hard to describe. That's honestly the best way I can describe how I feel about it: it's awkward. Perhaps even that one synonym of awkward known for its association with Bob Parr.
I feel like the Phazon suit is ten times better than the gravity suit. I’ll die in this hill. The color pallet of the gravity suit just angers me. I’ve seen it done better and that frustrates me to no end. The purple is just distracting and when you pair that with the arm cannon I was so happy to get the phazon suit. While I have a problem with the arm cannon on the phazon suit too, it gets away with it for its beautiful gunmetal color scheme. While I don’t really hate the gravity suit that much the phazon suit blows it out of the water.
It was unfortunate that the remastered Metroid Prime game had the Fusion suit taken out. It was an aesthetic that made playing the game fun during replays. So long as people have the Trilogy for the Nintendo Wii, other players be fine getting the suit as it doesn't involve Friendship vouchers and Green Credits that you would have to trade with others. It's ridiculous some of the bonus content requires you too get credits that are worthless to obtain unless the wii online servers were up. Maybe there's some luck with the Wii custom servers that has taken their place.

You’re 100% right. It feels like the Prime and traditional camp are at war sometimes.

@@cybergames3436 So basically the version we got in Samus Returns?

2009 UA-cam vibes. When they allowed widescreen video.
Woulda thought you made this compilation after you covered the remaster
The varia suit really makes me think in the Eva 01
Too bad that the Classic NES suit isn’t included in this.
I heard it’s complicated to unlock compared to the way of unlocking the Fusion suit.
