We’ve loads of old photos showing that before the port was built it was all water and this used to be a massive housing estate. Pub is nearly 200 years old
When I saw this in my feed today I thought Scott must be ill. He's done two Pubs Of Pompey in less than a month. Then I realized it's the same one :)

I've not been in there in years. Get some more pubs of pompey in before they are all gone.
Used to drink occasionally in the Rudmore Cellars which was near there many years ago. My mum used to run the RAC port office and I'd pop in there for a quick one when we went to pick her up after work. Used to be run by a really nice Irish guy who retired and went back to Ireland. Shut and demolished about 2009.
