I am using zeta plus strong hybrid since a month, done almost 1600kms. In bangalore city it gives about 20-22kmpl. On the highway from bangalore to kerala it gave me about 27kmpl. I also was under the impression that mileage will be more in city, but that doesn’t seem to be the case in real world.
For a person like me who runs mostly in a city like bangalore my fuel cost is less than half of normal petrol engine if I go with hybrid. So savings will be much more than the calculation said in the video. On top of this we will get better features especially comparing zeta plus with zeta AT (sunroof which zeta AT doesn’t get, wireless charger, HUD, drive modes, digital cluster etc). However the major reason I went with hybrid is because it has much better performance than the mild hybrid(and all other 1.5NA engines in the segment), much more than the difference in spec suggests because of the electric motor that delivers instant torque.
Presentation was nice, but there were lot of facts wrong in this video.

Mild hybrids bootspace is nowhere segment leading. Infact it will be the second lowest (lowest being the strong hybrid). Creta, seltos, astor, elevate, c3 aircross, taigun kushaq all of them have higher bootspace than GV. Other than kushaq and taigun all others have 400 plus litres of bootspace. Even sub 4m SUVs like kiger (405L) and sonet(392L) have better bootspace than GV.
