- What has happened to small town America? See an example of a few building within a 2 mile radius, abandoned because of how life on the Plains has changed in the last 100 years.
The rural ND school house my Mom attended is still standing, roof intact, but minus windows & doors, floor very rotten. ---This was special, thank-you.
It would be nice to know what county and Township this is in
So sad we should be preserving these pieces of history.
This really opens my eyes how houses are not an appreciating asset. If you just let them sit unmaintained, they'll crumble into the dirt.
I ‘d like to come out there sometime . What month would you recommend ?
I like June. The lilacs are usually blooming and it’s not so hot and humid.
February
where exactly is this would love to come see it
If only those walls could talk, the stories they might tell...
This is a great video. I've been interested in Ghost towns as my girlfriend lives in one and I drive out to it sometimes.
You know that is trespasing some have been shot doing that !!!
Hmmm, the buildings are owned by my mother-in-law and I have never seen her with a gun...🤔
Dude said the houses are owned so his title is a lie.. these are not abandoned.
My dad's family is from North Dakota ( rolette) the Lunde family.
I’ll be moving to a small town near Jamestown soon. I am wondering roughly what part of North Dakota this is.
Half hour from Minot ND
Jamestown area has quite a few abandoned places!
Gotta be careful to not get hit by a falling board off the ceiling.
