      I see you are in Canada now :) I am curious as to why no tuning in and out this class? I do not mind it, but just curious.

      Yes, back in Canada! What a change from Thailand! Ahaha
      The reason there is no Adi Mantra/Sat Nam in this practice is because this is not a Yogi Bhajan class. This is my own combination of Traditional Kundalini, Kriya Yoga and other Tantric practices.
      When I teach a Bhajan class, I honor his style by using his mantras, etc. But when I teach my own class, because I am not Sikh and know very little about the religion, I feel better tuning in with what resonates with me - practicing out of love for the Self, for Truth and the Good of all beings.

    I’ve been doing kundalini yoga with you for a while, and every practice brings me closer to where I want to be, but this was one where something special really happened and I can seriously feel those energy channels awakening and flowing through me. The best thing to do is relax and let it flow, let what’s coming come and then go. It’s pretty cool!

    Lovely practice as always, Andrew! These shorter ones are handy because there is no way my dog is going to let me do an hour plus in the morning, no matter how early I get up.. Staying in a meditative place with a german shepherd pawing and slobbering on me isn't going to happen- got away with this this morning and I feel amazing, thank you!

      @@RefeelYoga Loads better thanks but I'm supposed to rest it... fortunately there is a teacher on YT who does amazing hands free practices and a hands free vinyasa substitute so I've a few more options now- I've started your chakra initiations; been looking forward to those for a while. I'll let you know how I'm doing; still on muladhara, doing a few days on that as it's one of my weakest- I am terrible at the practical aspects of life! :-))

    That was beautiful, thank you so much! My eyes started shaking heavily during the 5 minutes, who knows where I would have gotten if my partner didn't accidentally distract me by turning on his toothbrush at that moment. Regardless, I will definitely return. Thank you.

    Another great Kundalini class! I liked how there was alot of breath of fire breathing and throat chakra opening exercises in it! I like kundalini classes that are 30-120mins. Still have not tried any of your hour or longer ones but I will soon. Sat nam

      If you want to try one of my longer classes I recommend you to try my class "Kundalini Fusion". In this class I combine Yogi Bhajan's Spinal Series (everyone's favorite!) with a Traditional Kundalini sequence. I think it's a great introduction and comparison between the two approaches 😊

I've been following your classes daily for 8 months now and i just wanted to thank you infinetly for the work you guys are doing and that i really liked this sequence since it incorporated different techniques from the others.       I have taught a few classes with Maha Bandha and other more advanced Mudras but I suppose so far I have only released those videos to the members.
      In fact right now I am recording a 14 day program where we will be doing lots of Maha Bandha... but it will also be for the members 😅
      Let's see! I'll have a think about how I can incorporate it into one of the upcoming public videos 😉
      But until then, if you are familiar with the technique you can use it on your own any time we are doing other Pranayama to enhance the effect

    Great practice, love it. Quick question, I usually have annoying pressure and dull pain behind the eyes and in the middle of my head often and during practice it can really make it difficult for me to focus on the energies that this practice stirs in me. Any tips on how to move this energy or transmute it somehow either in practice or after practice? Thanks in advance.

      Thanks for reaching out Jonathan. It's difficult to say exactly what could be causing this. First let me confirm, are you saying that this pressure is commonly present but worse during the practice or that it only comes from the practice? Also, do you know if you have high or low blood pressure? Because both can cause this type of discomfort but the treatment is quite opposite.
      For example, if you have low blood pressure, practicing headstand could be very helpful to alleviate it, also Uddiyana Bandha. But if you have high BP these practices will be a very bad idea. If you have high blood pressure it would be better to try a slower practice focusing on Muladhara Chakra, some Sama Vritti (square breath) or Ujjayi Pranayama.
      Definitely with any Pranayama that involves holding the breath make sure you are practicing Jalandhara Banhda, the throat lock! It's very important in this case.
      Lastly, when you ask me how to transmute it, I get the feeling that you are trying to run away from this sensation. Though it may be uncomfortable, each and every sensation is trying to teach us something. Rather than trying to avoid it and focus on something else, I would advise you to make this sensation your point of meditation. Even if it's weird or makes it more painful, you may discover something that is hugely beneficial for your life. Do the practice like normal but at each awareness phase try to "communicate" with this pressure and see what's happening, what's shifting inside.

      @@RefeelYoga Thank you for your response. I don't have high blood pressure, I would say it's on the lower end of the scale but not below healthy. Right at the base of normal. And I get it throughout the day. I don't believe the practice causes it, it just makes the practice a little difficult to focus on.

      Okay, good to hear! I would go with the idea of focusing more deeply on it then. Remember, "energy flows where the mind goes". So just like we focus to activate the Chakras, try to focus to send your energy to this pressure. See if you can make it bigger, nurture it and what shifts.
      Aside from that, have you tried Uddiyana Bandha? I'm curious if it would help you or create more pressure

    Does yoga helps astral projection ?

      Yes, definitely! I have had many students tell me that after they started Yoga or Meditation that they realize they have much more vivid dreams and are able to recall them very clearly. All practices of awareness will help this process. First we aim to remember our dreams, then we work to become lucid and in control while dreaming, and at that point we can expand upon that experience to start astral projecting and all sorts of other high level spiritual pracices.
      Developing Vishuddha Chakra, Ajna Chakra and working with Yoga Nidra can all facilitate this process 🙏💞

      For the voice/throat I would recommend singing, chanting, Ujjayi Pranayama, Sarvangasana (shoulder stand), and Viparita Karani
