People are thinking that these skincare products are going to turn their skin from fine to the most glorious thing ever, they won’t. Some can make minor changes that make you look younger and healthier, but good skin comes from diet, hydration, exercise, and mostly preventative skincare. Regardless, you are going to age! You just wanna do it gracefully.

I usually use sunscreen, but don't reapply. I still got the dreaded age spots. So, lack of consistency and living in a tropical island hasn't helped. I started this year at 49 yo vitamin C n retinol. Hope is not too late to get results. 😢

@@aries3744consistency on spf is the best thing you can do for your skin health and skin tone! Something that I've always had rolling around in my brain, is that if you spend loads of money on the most expensive fancy products, if you don't protect your skin from the sun you may as well just throw them in the trash. It's a complete waste of money. Not to mention that ingredients like retinoids and acids, etc can make your skin worse if you don't use spf.

I get less obvious pimples. They appear smaller and less inflamed when I'm consistant at it. And my skin is glowy and sun protected. My mom did not know what the fuck was sunscreen in the 70's/80's swimming in a river and now she has sun spots all over her face. And even removed some with laser. But that one in particular might've come from aging. Still though I don't have that big of issues like I used to. I don't think that they were complaining or trying to insinuate that skincare as a whole doesn't work or that they wanted to quit. It sounds like they're not seeing progress with their skincare and their skin is at an okay place, they'd like to see improvement but don't know what to do 😭

I immediately noticed a sudden improvement since doing skincare regularly. My skin doesn't feel as tight after cleansing I'm guessing because I have normal leaning dry skin. I get less obvious pimples. They appear smaller and less inflamed when in consistant at it. And my skin is glowy and sun protected. My mom did not know what the fuck was sunscreen in the 70's/80's swimming in a river and now she has sun spots all over her face. And even removed some with laser. But that one in particular might've come from aging. Still though I don't have that big of issues like I used to. My skin has always been okay but glowy happy skin means I'll have okay skin when I age.
