That’s what a real puncher is though. Even when he was younger he would practically compress heavy bags with ease, almost as if he was bored. It looks like he’s barely pivoting and yet he’s somehow generating a ton of power.

Great parries, good head movement, terrific jab to destroy his opponent's rhytm -- and then you have his repertoire of old-school tricks like leverage blocks, stops, and pushing/holding. I've heard Foreman described as a monster from a horror movie, you keep hitting it as hard as you can but it just keeps lumbering towards you for the kill. He was terrifying to watch, slow and mechanical and precise. An absolute machine.

I'm an avid sports nut, following all 4 of the major US sports, and every bit of combat you can possibly watch.
With that being said, the 3 craziest things I have ever seen in boxing live....
Tyson biting Holyfields ear, Tyson Fury rising from the dead and Old man George Foreman beating a 25 year old champ in his prime.
I'm glad George is a loved a revered person today, because he could be the opposite of.
Avenging the defeat that Ali gave him all those years ago while wearing the very shorts he lost in....
You can't make this stuff up.
    Legend.

What people forget is all Michael Moorer had to do was stay away, and not trade punches towards the end of that fight. Instead, Michael Moorer showed the heart of a champion. Moorer has the heart of a lion, but George has the heart, body, head, and fists of a Silver Back Gorilla that has been around the block a few times and then some. Foreman was a freak of nature, and an apex predator in a jungle full of dangerous animals. I will always love seeing the old lion that is long in the tooth school the younger lion that underestimated him/her. The lesson is to never mistake an older man's strength for weakness.
