Jeez, I had no idea you could do that kind of money. I only got my teaching job and no other income. Hm I wonder if I can get my cats their own online career... I don't want one myself but more ways of income would be nice. Is the feet pics actually a thing one could be paid for? Saw some other comment mentioning that.

That's honestly amazing achievement, and thanks for providing your insight. Getting that first paycheck from UA-cam is one of my favorite memories. I still remember it, there was lots of emotions involved. If it wasn't for my consistency and hard work (and a little bit of Famester of course), I probably wouldn't have made anything.
Your voice and videos are always so comforting, and the jokes make me laugh! Thank you for the insight in this one, it's nice to get a realistic pov!

@Patchy People love honesty, and being up front about things, it is endearing. Plus who doesn't love that UK sense of humor, especially silly or self deprecating sarcasm? I think the soothing. calming aspect of your videos come from your voice, quiet with that very noticeable Scottish accent. What's not to love there? And who wouldn't be fascinated with a noticeably ginger Scot with a white patch on one side of his head who actually has the nickname Patchy and likes it? That is just the best. I honestly like your videos about your cat, and you baking, and you taking walking/hiking tours of your local country the best. The beauty around you and the music you choose for those videos make it like a 20ish minute mini vacation. Great work Patchy (George)….Brian

When my critical voice rears its ugly head, it helps to remind myself that its job is to keep me from taking risks. Except he doesn’t understand that this is not a risk at all! No Bad Course Police will hunt you down to fine you for making a course 😄 follow the steps and don’t think too hard. You will probably surprise yourself! Then make another one.

@CarolynJohnson Me too, although I think it's the sauce I hate rather than the beans - they must use real tomatoes, but what do they do to them to make the sauce taste so unlike real tomatoes?
Personality and a very pleasant demeanour will go a long way but without good content the viewers and subscribers will drop off - your USP and your first video were refreshingly ‘honest’ content and well paced and with high production values. You have enhanced all those positives and you do not take your audience for granted. I wish you every success and your diverse channel.
