for me the growth has been so slow i am only at 35 and dont get any views either, im trying not to quit but its hard after spending so much time and not seeing any great results 😭

On your acne video, keep the before and after, but remove the middle.
and make sure that consistency is not enough. you need to make videos that are better than the previous ones (which I struggle to do)

This video is so helpful! I tried my hand at UA-cam years ago and got burnt out because I was too niched for what I wanted to discuss. I'm looking to come back now with a topic I won't get tired of with a serious eye at getting monetized for some extra income. Thank you! And yes! I would love to post at least twice a week, I think that could be realistic for me. I unfortunately don’t think I’d ever have the bandwidth to post daily or more than twice a week and keep up with my jewelry side to the business 🙈

I appreciate you sharing, especially being in such a small niche (I'm also in a small niche--"author tube" i.e. talking about writing books!). So few UA-camrs outside of the tech/lifestyle/marketing space share their numbers. I'm working towards monetization myself!
Yessss it’s definitely easier to find these videos from folks that are “UA-cam UA-camrs” lol or lifestyle people, which is great but hard to know if it will apply to you ya know? I’m happy you found it helpful! I hope you get monetized soon! 🎉🎉💜
You are super humble, don't worry about that. I like watching your channel for the business point of view, you share your steps to get to places and don't hide the reality or struggles.
I have a small UA-cam channel I started in February and I was going really well and now that I am very close to get monetized I feel like I lost interest and motivation. Last video I posted was nearly three weeks ago, I feel like I got burned out. I am watching this to get some motivation back. 😄

Well done on been monitized. You’ve got such a good platform ! I’ve been monitized for nearly two years and it’s not about me getting lots of money it’s about me getting something back for the effort I put it .
I used to not earn much then I did but for the past 6 months my videos haven’t been doing so well so I’m just carrying on with my content because it’s what I love and it’s the reason why I started my UA-cam account .

This is very informative! As a new content creator, I’d just like to get to a point where I don’t have to inform everyone on my socials every time a new video is out 😂😂. Would like you think you can grow a large following in any niche, but some definitely go viral quicker than others 🙂
I definitely agree! Lol some niches do grow more quickly BUT, anything is possible. 💜 sometimes you can be just niche enough to gain traction 💜
You can do it. At this point, I only have 344 subs and only 1 of my sisters knows I have a youtube channel. 😊 I don't want my friends or family to know because I am still trying to work on my speaking. Weird, huh . 😊

Great story, and I am happy to see you are satisfied. Being a UA-camr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame - ster of course) will always pay off at the end.

I started a kids channel and I know its the worse topic to start a channel on and has the most restrictions and the least payout, but I am going on 2 months in and getting my feet wet on how to make videos, edit, etc....this will launch me into a totally different channel very soon and it won't be a kids channel, but I will keep this one because I do have the passion for creating and I am in the childcare industry as well.
