Hey George ...Ive reno'd houses heaps....also bit of air b nb. You talked about rugs/what to do about cleaning. one of the best investments we made was buying one of the small bissell spotclean/turbo machines...it sprays (antibacterial solution) & suctions quite well. this way we're able to clean our rugs (semi) regularly without a worry. also then doesnt matter if guests accidentally spill something. cheers
Hi George, I clean Air BnBs for a living. You are so right to cosy things up, in my experience I find guests LOVE: Throw rugs Boardgames Nice selections of hot chocolate, tea, and good coffee Generous, fluffy towels Bathmats (there will be puddles!) Lots of places to charge phones/ laptops etc Crisp white sheets Space for luggage Lamps (the ultimate room cosying device) Books, dvds etc Rubbish bags and places to leave recycling Nice glassware for wine and whiskey List of takeaway restaurants in the area The throws, boardgames, books, lamps, glassware can all be sourced secondhand. If you're buying new linen then duvets and pillowslips made from linen is the most forgiving, wrinkles only make it look cosier and make-up stains come out easier As a cleaner I can tell you plants tend to get damaged, knocked over, or killed if someone isn't checking on them every couple days. They're also a pain to dust. Thick pile rugs are very hard to keep clean as guests tend to leave crumbs and hair everywhere Dark towels (grey, navy, charcoal) are much easier to keep looking good if you don't have a professional laundry service Invest in a light, portable, good quality vacuum cleaner Glass/ window cleaner gets rid of all fingermarks on every surface - brilliant for chrome taps! Don't bother with a lot of cushions, they always end up on the floor Spell out all instructions to your guests extremely carefully, as though you were explaining it to a five year old because they don't tend to read instructions. They will phone you at midnight because they can't work the TV remote! I think the blank wall is restful and gives a nice space for sun to create shadows or lamps to light up at night. I like my job, I like making my guests happy, it can be a lot of fun. Goodluck!
Patchy - if you rent one of those rug cleaners, take your rug outside on cement to clean it. It’ll save your wood floors and you can hang it over something to dry . Experience is a good teacher. I love the extra touches - makes it a little more homely and warm!
I wouldn't put anything on the blank wall, but hang a chandelier above the stairs, maybe something more vintage looking to bring contrast to everything being quite modern. Would give a big impact to the space
Love all the new plants, shelves and pictures. Maybe a B&W/neutral tones map of Scotland on the blank wall highlighting places to visit? Hope you get some nice visitors to stay.
I don't mean to be weird but I adore Junior and I adore you. Your videos are such a nice addition to my afternoons. Peaceful, calm, positive, forward focused. Have a good week, and I look forward to you next post.
The plants add a nice cozy touch. I also think a big fabric wall hanging would be nice on that wall. An inexpensive way to do that is to just create a large square with lumber and staple some fabric yardage around it. Just make sure you don't make the frame bigger than the yardage width! Also a word of caution, personal things like your grandmothers barometer might be better kept to yourself. Just when you think all airbnb customers are fabulous one comes along and takes your personal things with them as a keepsake. And, you are very fastidious but customers might clomp around in their shoes so having a mat by the door where they can take them off when they come in might help on wear and tear. Your place looks great, wish I could travel to Scotland to stay in it! Sending pats to George, love her!
For the same reason you've suggested -- the clomping around -- I'd be sure to affix anything possible to the walls, such as the barometer, should George keep it in the house. Hang any leaning paintings, and use museum putty underneath any plants or objects on shelves to keep them stable from falling off. PLEASE DO NOT PUT OUT real candles on the shelves. You're inviting the house to burn down. Use artificial candles in jars or just a different type of knick knack -- even the plain glass jars are better than leaving candles in an Air BnB.
put some marigolds on and take the rug out to the garden and get soap powder and water and use your hands or a scrub brush and scrub away a wee while then rinse the soap away with water ( a hose is good) and works really well over a line...let drip dry and clean rug no cost, do this often when i find nice rug that people throw out because dirty but nothing else wrong with it
For the large blank wall, I would do some oversize mirrors! Either 3 large ones hung vertically and going across or one big one hung horizontally. It’ll bounce light around and add depth to your space. Whatever you decide, I’m sure it’ll look great. 😊👍🏻
Such a lovely makeover! However, having stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, I do have a few recommendations. The blinds in the bedroom were a very thoughtful addition but after taking your listing photos, I recommend removing the little plants from the window sills. They look nice but as an Airbnb guest, I prefer bare surfaces. Maybe put one small tray, something unbreakable, maybe wood or acrylic for guests to put glasses, phone, keys, whatever. Also, two of those folding luggage racks for guests’ suitcases would be practical and welcome additions to the bedroom. It’s important to think about places for guests to charge their devices. Travelling as a couple, we love it when Airbnbs have charging stations(?) on both sides of the bed. But in your case, maybe one upstairs and one downstairs might work better. I also recommend removing your grandmother’s barometer and your cute orange kitty plant pot and anything else of sentimental value. Most guests are honest but all it takes is one. And some guests are clumsy. Breakage will happen. The old photos of the village are a wonderful decor item. As another commenter said, a few relevant guidebooks and/or ones on local history are also a good addition. A binder with local information about restaurants, sights to see, hiking trails etc. is also always appreciated. It’s also a good place to put any instructions and contact numbers for guests. The new houseplants are lovely but you might want to consider removing them as well when it comes time to rent the house. I don’t know if it’s because of concerns over damage or care but I can’t recall ever seeing real houseplants in any of the airbnbs we’ve stayed over the years. A few in outside pots, but not indoor ones. And from a purely aesthetic standpoint, I like the bare white wall going up the stairs. It makes the space feel more expansive. Your thoughtful placement of wall art, and the floating shelves provide a nice balance that brings it back to a human scale. Your place is minimalist but also warm and inviting. Perfect for Airbnb. Thank you for sharing the evolution of your beautiful home. PS Despite her “boxing” habit, Junior is absolutely adorable! 🥰
I agree with this post. Especially with regards to removing sentimental items. The weirdest things “go missing” so please make sure it’s not something you care about.
My idea for the blank white wall is to hang neutral colored tapestry. you could choose neutral colors or even a white or just light beige and it could be fairly big I think. You wouldn’t commit to painting the wall. But I think the texture of a cozy textile can create a warmer atmosphere in contrast to the plain white wall now which can make a room feel on the colder and more hostile side.
A room isn’t “cold” because one wall isn’t decorated. The rest of the room is nicely decorated so it feels plenty warm for an airbnb. Anything fabric will just collect dust and be hard to clean so he’s better off just leaving it the way it is.
The changes made a big difference. Don't forget to buy mattress & pillow cover protectors to prevent bed bugs and the like. Enjoying your videos in Texas.
Excellent, George ! I'd leave the big wall as it. My opinion is that is makes the room look bigger and clean (not that your area isn't clean!). Hugs to Junior. Love that cat.
No need to fill empty space, might just be overkill(advice from someone who is NOT an interior designer),..I liked the prints you had, just the right touch of quirky.
I agree. Some folks get nervous at a large blank wall, l but I honestly think putting anything on that one would just close in the space, making it feel smaller rather than cosier. As is, it expands the rooms dimensions, by not stopping the eyes. The rest of your changes are pretty darn nice, making it feel more homely. No worries doing carpet shampooing, it works well, just don't do it on wooden floors. The trick is not to soak it too much as you clean. If you watch professional carpet cleaners at work you'll see that their suction machines get most of the dirty water out, so you're not dealing with wet rugs forever. I'm in Canada so I'm not sure what your 24 hour rental machines are like but here ours are effective if used correctly. Often what you assume is wear and tear on a carpet or rug is just muck, and cleaning can return it to almost new condition. I'd go for that option. Your rug is small and won't be any trouble to clean and get dry even in a clammy Scottish mizzle. You can hang it over your stair railing till it's no longer soggy. 😊
It all looks lovely. Junior in the packaging bedding and her look-a-like plant pot are adorable. I'd put a really large landscape oriented print over the stairs.
The house is looking fantastic George, well done. The big white wall on the staircase - I wonder if you could find an antique quilt in faded colours? It would have to be just the right one of course but you could have fun looking. It would also cosy up the acoustic.
Love the new floating shelves and plants, lools more homely. Avoid leaving any real candles in your home, they are a massive fire hazard and you could lose the place if a guest forgets to blow them out. I'd buy some battery operated ones instead, much safer and they give the same effect. As you've added quite a few extra items of interest, I'd leave the stair wall as it is or you risk it looking too cluttered.
I like the way it all turned out very friendly and still keeps it airy, my Daughters old app had that same big wall, and we put white fairy lights right around the edging it was lovely in the evening , and we got the ones that have a white cable so you didnt actually see them in the day as such. Have a great week ahead xxx Dede xxx
I love the new changes. I’m not sure I’d do anything with that wall. I had a similar one in my old house and hung three large botanical pictures going up the stairs. As always I love seeing Junior! She’s so cute. 😽
I love floating shelves! And indoor plants! I have a very tiny house too (I think smaller footprint than yours but bigger overall because it’s over 3 floors). It’s still got most of its original features and doesn’t even have heating yet, by I’m hoping to make it really nice eventually. I love watching your videos for inspiration (and because they’re very calming). Do you have many mirrors up? I find mirrors are really good for small spaces, particularly staircases where they can bounce the light. Maybe a mirror could go in that big white space. Mirrors + fairy lights are a win for me but maybe a bit effeminate for you.
So glad to see you posted a new video, I so enjoy watching & listening to you! Love the changes you made, you are very good at decorating. Great choice of plants. I especially love the plant pot of Junior. 🥰
Looks great. I love that you kept the old photos of the village. That gives the house context and character. For the wall next to the stairs, please don't put any more pictures there. They are a distraction and can cause people to slip and fall. I would suggest a hanging textile if you can find something that will work with the other things in there. Stick to the same color families, or washed out/neutral colors, but find something with pile or cut texture to soften the wall.
I think the white wall is nice bare. It gives the felling of space. If the rug is synthetic, you could just wash it by hand in the back yard on a hot day. Put it over a fence or washing line, spray down with the hose, scrub, rinse and leave to dry.
I live in Canada and I use a Bissell home carpet cleaner and it works really well. I do need to give it 4-5 passes when my beige carpet is really dirty, but once the water starts to run clear, it looks like new. Yours doesn't look so bad. You could rent out a machine and do it yourself, but as others have mentioned, don't do it on your hard floors. The dampness will warp them. Good luck. Love your videos.
I'll add here that I once heard many people recommend to *not* use soap in a carpet cleaner, especially the soap that rental companies give out with the rented machine.
I think you can rent a small steam cleaner and clean the rug that way. It's inexpensive and usually works very well. As for the fiddle-leaf fig, I think it may need a little more light. They don't like harsh, direct, light, or too much heat, but if you move it to the right a little, it'll probably like it better. Lastly, regarding the big expanse of white wall that you have in your staircase, I wonder if a large topographical map/or regular map of the area, or Scotland as a whole, would be a nice touch for people coming from away. Just a thought :-) The house looks peaceful and beautiful. Well done!
I don't think it's a good place for a map as people could slip down tne stairs if they were studying it. Somewhere else would be a good idea, but not on the stairs IMO.
Tiny house is looking beautiful. Remember that someone (your mum?) is going to have to dust it, so be careful not to put too much stuff in. All those plants and the gravel need to be clean. I really like what you're doing there.
I'm with you on Twitch at the moment, and when I saw this was out, I thought I'd watch it. I love your improvements to the tiny house. I liked it already and wasn't sure how you would improve on it, or indeed if it could be improved, but you did it. I hope it makes you tons of money for the renovation work on your other house with your bro. I have a good deal of respect for you, George. You have a lot of good ideas and seem very motivated to do something with your life. Love the Junior flower pot! And now I've commented, I'm back to Twitch!
I once had a large empty wall above an open stairway kind of like you do and I put a very extra large round wall clock there. It had to of been close to 4 feet round and it looked great.
I like what you've done to "cozy-up" your wonderful home for the eventual rentals. For that large wall, I would do some kind of textile to add some dimension and texture, and it will also absorb sound some. Maybe an inexpensive Persian style rug - or a tapestry or other handwoven textile. Needs to be fairly sizeable so it doesn't get lost on the large wall - and could be a nice hit of color. You are very creative and I'm certain will fine exactly the right thing when you see it. Thanks for sharing your life with us. And I love your cat!
I see junior likes the new rug. The rug doctor works well, I’ve used them many times. The shelves are lovely. Junior will love those, especially when it’s sunny.😊Your doing a great job.
Your changes look very good. For the large wall over the stairs, I would suggest some kind of fabric or tapestry wall hanging. Something that can be large, but not heavy.
Something with texture on the big wall would be lovely. A quilt or some such would work. Or a simple DIY macrame type thing would look nice too I think. Maybe a splash of color in it too. An ombre dip affect
I can imagine a big colourful abstract simple piece of art on that big blank white wall. I think it would pop and give a boost of colour especially in the white/calm palette the rest of the home has. :)
For the blank white wall I would employ an artist to paint some lovely Scottish landscape (Munros, famous lakes) that could also be labelled. Would be awesome as a tourist coming to stay and would be a wow entrance!
For your white wall; they have other choices too: "wall26 - Large Industrial Hall of a Vehicle Repair Station - Removable Wall Mural | Self-Adhesive Large Wallpaper - 100x144 inches"
Leave it just as it is ..All is looking superb .Plants , shelves etc are perfect..Your home really is such now. Great way of checking how much weight the shelves take ...
Junior looks adorable next to her 'mini me' plant pot! A word of caution about the plants you bought, they all require bright light, especially the succulents otherwise they will stretch (etiolate). Maybe you can move the fiddle-leaf fig to be under the skylight, if it doesn't block the stair access?
It looks great, good job! I would suggest to change the rug. First, it's probably more expensive to have it cleaned than to buy a new one, and second, I would suggest buying one with short/no "hair" (?) to accommodate people with allergies.
Hello Patchy! Even though I'm not a big fan of the minimalist style, I just love your tiny house! I think it's a very nice and cute gesture to put old photos of your village on the wall. Maybe if you have a couple more, you could even use them, or even one or two old/vintage decorations. On the white wall I put a wallpaper. Or a plant leaf pattern, or an old book page, train ticket, or newspaper article. I serve these quite often and they always look fantastic!
I have a big blank wall too. I purchased a 4'x4' barn quilt made of wood. Waiting for the artist to complete my custom design and colors. I liked the tapestry idea suggested by another too.
Lovely makeover. May husbands cousin who is an artist hung a beautiful rug over her stairs and it is lovely. I can totally see something like that in your tiny house. As it would add another texture and potentially some colour
Hello George, We often vacation in cottages and are usually happy when there are free drawers, compartments, tables and shelves. Too much deco stuff we often even collect, put it on a cupboard and try to put everything back properly when we leave. What I'm saying is don't worry too much about empty spaces. Once guests have arrived and unpacked their stuff for a week-long stay, it won't look so empty right away.
I would do a larger tapestry on that wall above the stairs, you could hang any sort of soft textile like a rug or fiber art. You have a lot of smaller frames already so you definitely need just one large piece there!
❤ loved the care you show with choosing plants and decorations (the junior vase is so cute) 😊 for the big wall: maybe a macrame wall hanger or tapestry some kind. no need to say that Junior is beautiful ❤ thanks for the laughs
Congratulations! It's a lovely house George Dunnett. @ 9:04 blank wall, you can put a large mirror, (you can use the wall to watch projection films), @ 0:15 very wise! London UK 🇬🇧
Really lovely upgrades:) I particularly love your new botanical prints. As for the big blank wall I have exactly the same issue going up a narrow staircase so I'm reading everyone's answers with interest:)
Love your style....very clean and light. You might want to hang a large, lightweight textile on that space over the stairs, something that appeals to you in colors that you enjoy. It can be an abstract or scene, whatever you like. As always, love Junior.
Thinking from a business perspective re: AirBnB - less is more. All the little decorative pieces is just more things to clean between guests. Also could be likely to get knocked and broken. Personally though for yourself they’re good changes you have a good eye for design. I think pictures with history to the place and property are great for guests to look at with maybe some accompanying books about the local area on a shelf. So maybe something along those lines for the big white wall if you’re thinking of things to put up for Airbnb purposes. 😊
Looks beautiful - Junior is adorable, especially in the packing material. I’m with those who told you to take your grandmother’s barometer and Junior-look-alike plant pot out before you start renting - some guests will be clumsy, and others may make off with things. Re art on the wall by the stairs - I like the idea of a map ( suggested in the comments), but I also like it blank, and blank is easier! Only put something up there if you can do it really cheaply!
All looks great, and I too think a quilt or tapestry would be great for that blank wall, would add texture and warmth. I have a ginger and white tabby named Percy, and he also loves to eat-- he's pretty much on a constant diet!

Hi George,
I clean Air BnBs for a living.
You are so right to cosy things up, in my experience I find guests LOVE:
Throw rugs
Boardgames
Nice selections of hot chocolate, tea, and good coffee
Generous, fluffy towels
Bathmats (there will be puddles!)
Lots of places to charge phones/ laptops etc
Crisp white sheets
Space for luggage
Lamps (the ultimate room cosying device)
Books, dvds etc
Rubbish bags and places to leave recycling
Nice glassware for wine and whiskey
List of takeaway restaurants in the area
The throws, boardgames, books, lamps, glassware can all be sourced secondhand.
If you're buying new linen then duvets and pillowslips made from linen is the most forgiving, wrinkles only make it look cosier and make-up stains come out easier
As a cleaner I can tell you plants tend to get damaged, knocked over, or killed if someone isn't checking on them every couple days. They're also a pain to dust.
Thick pile rugs are very hard to keep clean as guests tend to leave crumbs and hair everywhere
Dark towels (grey, navy, charcoal) are much easier to keep looking good if you don't have a professional laundry service
Invest in a light, portable, good quality vacuum cleaner
Glass/ window cleaner gets rid of all fingermarks on every surface - brilliant for chrome taps!
Don't bother with a lot of cushions, they always end up on the floor
Spell out all instructions to your guests extremely carefully, as though you were explaining it to a five year old because they don't tend to read instructions. They will phone you at midnight because they can't work the TV remote!
I think the blank wall is restful and gives a nice space for sun to create shadows or lamps to light up at night.
I like my job, I like making my guests happy, it can be a lot of fun. Goodluck!
Such a great son, protecting your mum's feet from the internet!
Love the make-over, very cosy :)
Thank you for explaining that. OMG; some internet peeps 😢😢
For your big white wall, a quilt with cool pattern or tapestry would fill in the space nicely. Everything is looking great!
I was thinking the same, some type of textile/woven piece.
I was just thinking the same thing!
Me 3! 😊
My thoughts too! Something made of fabric like a quilt to soften the hard surfaces and also for softening noise.
I thought the same. I'm sure he will pick something great. He has a talent for decor.
Patchy - if you rent one of those rug cleaners, take your rug outside on cement to clean it. It’ll save your wood floors and you can hang it over something to dry . Experience is a good teacher.
I love the extra touches - makes it a little more homely and warm!
I agree! Also, if you can by a pre-treatment for the darker spots, that can make a big difference. Love the changes!🧡
I wouldn't put anything on the blank wall, but hang a chandelier above the stairs, maybe something more vintage looking to bring contrast to everything being quite modern. Would give a big impact to the space
Junior is so adorable. So funny when you popped her up onto the new shelves. I love your improvements. It looks very stylish and homey.
Love all the new plants, shelves and pictures. Maybe a B&W/neutral tones map of Scotland on the blank wall highlighting places to visit? Hope you get some nice visitors to stay.
You can send the rug out to be cleaned. The results will be much better than a portable cleaner.
in my experience, sending it out to be cleaned costs more than the rug.
Wear too ??
Probably not worth it for a cheap rug.
@@phoenix-xu9xjDry cleaners maybe?
next time he can get a machine washable rug
Well personally I like the big blank white wall because it gives a sense of peace not cluttered up with something the eye goes to.
for the wall, a collage of your communities' photos would be very interesting to anyone who wants to rent over a holiday ✨✨
I don't mean to be weird but I adore Junior and I adore you. Your videos are such a nice addition to my afternoons. Peaceful, calm, positive, forward focused. Have a good week, and I look forward to you next post.

The cat is junior, the human is george
Can someone tell me why no socks on the internet is so dangerous? Are feet banned? I’m old and know nothing
People are just super pervy about feet on the internet
A place to put suitcases is important too. Perhaps a storage bench at the end of the bed?
put some marigolds on and take the rug out to the garden and get soap powder and water and use your hands or a scrub brush and scrub away a wee while then rinse the soap away with water ( a hose is good) and works really well over a line...let drip dry and clean rug no cost, do this often when i find nice rug that people throw out because dirty but nothing else wrong with it
I loved the picture that ppl found depressing, it's unique and pretty. But the one you replaced it with was nice too.
For the large blank wall, I would do some oversize mirrors! Either 3 large ones hung vertically and going across or one big one hung horizontally. It’ll bounce light around and add depth to your space. Whatever you decide, I’m sure it’ll look great. 😊👍🏻

PS Despite her “boxing” habit, Junior is absolutely adorable! 🥰
The folder with local information is a great idea.
I agree 💯 with every single thing you have written. Totally spot on
Not a big deal but Junior is a girl!
I too like the bare white wall. A big piece of art or textile would close in the staircase and the upper room. Bare, it feels light and airy❤
I agree with this post. Especially with regards to removing sentimental items. The weirdest things “go missing” so please make sure it’s not something you care about.
Love the old photos of your village! That is so cool to have in the house!
For the big blank wall, maybe you could hang up some before and after photos showing the abandoned tiny home?
My idea for the blank white wall is to hang neutral colored tapestry. you could choose neutral colors or even a white or just light beige and it could be fairly big I think. You wouldn’t commit to painting the wall. But I think the texture of a cozy textile can create a warmer atmosphere in contrast to the plain white wall now which can make a room feel on the colder and more hostile side.
I totally agree, something like a light coloured tapestry would be warming, and add some texture to the space, without overpowering the whole area.
Any natural type tapestry (Made of some natural woven materials in shades of color that won't compete with the decor you have already.)
A room isn’t “cold” because one wall isn’t decorated. The rest of the room is nicely decorated so it feels plenty warm for an airbnb. Anything fabric will just collect dust and be hard to clean so he’s better off just leaving it the way it is.
Junior falling asleep amongst the packaging gave me my first smile on what has been a crappy day. Thanks.

That's excellent! I suggested a painted mural, but a quilt or tapestry would be even better! ♥
Ditto the quilt idea.
Plants and pictures make a huge difference to a space. It's looking really lovely.
Photos of family and friends on your big blank wall... Fab video, inspiring as always.
The house looks really nice and cozy. My favorite part is Junior. ❤😺
Put mirrors on the white wall! It will make your home look bigger than it is!
THANK YOU, George for being you! We are all learning with you. You are such a nice person 💕
Love the new floating shelves and plants, lools more homely.

Personally, I like the plain white wall. Very calming.
Brilliant choices! And Junior is a natural star!! 😄
Love the old historical photos of the village. They're always interesting for guests too
Love all the changes! Great taste. I hope you kept the 2 prints you changed out for yourself. I was rather fond of the guy slumped back.
HAHA not the blurry grippers 😅👣 You're a good son, Patchy. ☺
The makeover was well done! You have such a good eye.
So cool that you did the renovation on this abandoned building! Turned out pretty cool.🍀 Love the kitty 😻
I would leave the big blank wall just like that: blank. I don't like an overly decorated space, personally.
I agree.
the changes look great! floating shelves are such a great touch. maybe a tapestry could work for the wall by the staircase?
I think the white wall is nice bare. It gives the felling of space. If the rug is synthetic, you could just wash it by hand in the back yard on a hot day. Put it over a fence or washing line, spray down with the hose, scrub, rinse and leave to dry.
Oh, I love the change of rug in the living area. I love all your updates in home No. 1.
Love the remodeling! And the plants look amazing!
Junior is cuteness overload 😍
baking soda and white vinegar then set it outside in the sun and it will clean it right up, for the rug. this is such a nice refresh for your home!
Well done!
Love the large map idea!!!
Nice idea!
I would give the "big white wall" a bit of coulour. Very light but just a bit of contrast that makes it come alive a bit.
Very light green perhaps? Love your 😺.
The changes you made , rug plants pictures and shelving so improve the landscape of your small cosy house . Love the cat too.
The picture of the guy in the grass is so cute! It reminds me of a painting in Grand Budapest Hotel or something. It's eccentric ina good way.
The makeover looks fantastic 👏👏
I’d put a big mirror on that wall to make the space look bigger 👌
I see junior likes the new rug. The rug doctor works well, I’ve used them many times. The shelves are lovely. Junior will love those, especially when it’s sunny.😊Your doing a great job.
Those two kitties are cuties! Sure they will love their new house.
Your changes look very good. For the large wall over the stairs, I would suggest some kind of fabric or tapestry wall hanging. Something that can be large, but not heavy.
Just what I was thinking!
Yes, something large but lightweight and with a bit of color pop to give the white/gray vibe some personality.
Happy to see the pink table stayed! It's such a fun and neat piece 😃
Bravo! Your choices are primo.
Repeating myself: You have the world's cutest cat.
your sense of style and decor is gorgeous, chic yet relaxing at the same time. you are kinda awesome! ❤️
You have a wonderful sense of design and placement Patchy. Of course, Junior would enjoy the packing material.
fantastic makeover
I love your sense of humor and also Junior! The new pictures, plants and tug look great- you have very good taste.
Looks beautiful. I’ve been in love with your house ever since you renovated it. The new extra touches are great.
I love how Junior has to approve evrything. She's so funny and gorgeous!
It looks great, good job!
I would suggest to change the rug. First, it's probably more expensive to have it cleaned than to buy a new one, and second, I would suggest buying one with short/no "hair" (?) to accommodate people with allergies.
A large textile is great for a wall space. It will add texture, color, and also dampen vibrations and make a space less echoey.
Giant mirror - stylish and reflects more light
I feel you Junior, I initially thought the packaging was the pot itself, the texture 5:06 would look so nice on a pot.
Lovely makeover. May husbands cousin who is an artist hung a beautiful rug over her stairs and it is lovely. I can totally see something like that in your tiny house. As it would add another texture and potentially some colour
6:06 Great choice! The resemblance is uncanny.
Hello George,
We often vacation in cottages and are usually happy when there are free drawers, compartments, tables and shelves.
Love the space, love the re-do. Love Junior helping. 😂
Patch should Totally Sponsor You "Patchy"
I love the new additions, especially the bowl filled with rocks 😜
Love the new decor touches - they make your home very cosy! Junior is adorable, as is the look-alike plant pot❣️
Tapestry fills a wall and warms environment. One would look great above stairs. Woven or macrame would add texture
