Barca are just looking to monetize everything possible, they look at transfer rumours and see they are being used to generate interest and that interest is generating cash for the rumourists. They want a slice of that, it is crazy and greedy but i do get it and i kind of respect them going after the vultures around the club, it is affecting their business now.

I still find it amusing how people don't understand why Man Utd had to take action even if it might have seemed petty. While football clubs have to grant the competitions they are part of image and naming to sell they also retain these to sell themselves. United sold gaming rights to Konami but by doing so they have to protect against unauthorized use or Konami could take legal action. FM didn't have a licence, it used a loophole for some data as EA weren't bothered as long aslong as the more important rights weren't infringed and for the rest they have a modding system that lets be honest they know us abused, hence why so much of the legal removal of data is done via plaintext files that you just have to delete and Konami understandably wouldn't be happy paying for rights that FM had found a way to let them use without paying.United dont care about free graphics packs using their rights, they care about Konami caring that it's going on leading to a court case and all the costs which would most likely lead to having to return Konamis money plus damages

@@gaffer2602 depends on the league mate In lower leagues you can like Gibraltar, England, Wales, Spains 3rd division and below. Spains 2nd and 1st division have a minimum salary rule so a player would have to be payed a certain amount just to be allowed to play.
