Make sure you bring a lunch, and get a good night sleep before orientation. Because it’s long and boring and you’ll be taking your employee id picture as well.
I’m a CCA, never called off & was scheduled today to work for 9:30am..they called me early to come for 9am, then text me 30min. later to say they don’t need me today.. 45min. later, they told me to come in for 11:45am.. I already was 30min. away from where I stay & wasn’t coming back home til 6-7hrs later since they say I was off.. Can they fought me for not coming in after they told me not to? & my supervisor was trying to intimidate me but I wasn’t going for it..🤷🏾♀️
Sorry to hear about your grandmother. You handle that very well. There is a good guy he works for USPS. His UA-cam channel is Everything USPS with Jay H maybe he can give you some insight on this situation. He has a wealth of info. Let them know in the right way they can’t play with you.
Congratulations on that. What position did you apply for. There's really nothing to be nervous about. I know its natural. But everything here gets easy with repetition.

its not mandatory to pick it up right during your 90 days? i mean if your working 6 days then u need a day off for sure. appreciate your response. my orientation on monday
Im so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I did have a question for you. Im applying for a cca position in Austin Tx any advice for my first 90 days?
I appreciate that. For the first 90 days, I just did everything they asked me to do, so I could get out of the 90 days. Just be on time, and don't call in though. I saw one girl get let go of because she was very slow on amazon sundays. It's not hard at all, just improve from one day to the next.
@ata how is the application pro ess going? When did you apply and how far along are you in thr hiring process. I'm also looking to join the Austin area.
@@joenuke100 Hey there it’s a grind for sure! Work 10-12 hour days one day off a week. But the checks are good:) family support is in demand if you have kids, because you will get home late.
Retired from that lousy Hostile place. Believe me it's only gonna get worse. Whatever you do, don't let anyone in your Office and especially the worthless Supervisors that you have plans on your Day Off. They get their kicks from forcing you in or calling you in. What up bro I heard you say something that got my attention me being a black man working for this company 7months I have seen that I get treated differently compared to the white ccas I think it's messed up
post office management is so manipulative and union stewards r so useless that’s why we are so short staffed and even though they’re constantly hiring no one wants to be a carrier cuz they over work you
Sheesh, a union steward who doesn't know enough to effectively do his job and a number for the Union head that doesn't work........ And I'm assuming you have to pay a lot in dues..... eeesh.
Have you made regular yet?
No. I’m a PFT now; which is basically a higher paid CCA. We have some movement going on now, so I’ll be next in line soon
@@uspstwan7716 ok. Thank you for responding
No problem @@TammyJ7628
@uspstwan7716 how long until you become ptf? And what's pay difference?

I appreciate your videos, im starting orientation. Next week and I’m nervous. Off topic but you are a very handsome man !!!

I recently went for a interview for cca position. The post master told me he would fire me if I calling out sick during my 90 days. lol
I'm on my 3rd day of academy 😓 so nervous about starting 😩
Thank you so much for your reply !! How was your drivers test ?? I’m also nervous about that too !
This job is rough. Depending on the type of work you've done before, this is not a job for the faint at heart.
Congratulations on that. What position did you apply for. There's really nothing to be nervous about. I know its natural. But everything here gets easy with repetition.
The drivers test is pretty easy. As long as you can drive. You just have to get used to driving on the right side. You'll catch on quick though
