I was not able to remove the grill, but with the loosening of the bolts it allowed enough give in the grill to remove the headlamp assembly so if you have the same issue just know it can be done without full removal. Better than busting the grill. Since we are talking about a 20 year old car, folks may want to WD-40 the bolts when putting back on since originals likely have some surface rust. Putting the new lamps in was certainly much easier than removing! Thanks again!
CERAMIC MAGNETS.....remember those words when you are removing screws. the magnet will stick to any metal in the engine compartment and when you remove small metal parts like screws, put them on the magnet. they will still be there when you need them.

Thanks man only part that i needed to know was how to remove the side marker (turn light) its scary how it just slides out feels like its gonna break.
I have 2001 and of course, the lense came off the side marker
is it a similar process for the 99
I can get mine loose from the studs on the side but they still wont come out, it feels like I would have to snap off the bumper to get it to clear.
