I love my Hario syphon. It's so easy to customize the brew. It will accomodate any grind. I have the stock alcohol burner and speed things up by preheating the lower chamber in the microwave.
Nice, i also just purchased one of this syphon and trying to perfect the technique but not quite. Just wondering where you got your gas burners from it looks cool.
Thanks for this post. I don’t believe that the burner you’re using is the stock Hario burner? The burner I’ve seen that comes with the product looks more simple, can you inform us what the name of this burner is? Thanks!
Never a good idea to double brew, in my experience. You'll only emphasize the burnt and acidic tastes. Although since a vacuum/siphon doesn't need to completely boil the water, it might not be as catastrophic as usual.
One of the best turorials on youtube!
Indeed

You should cover the top for faster vacuum suction
Thank you for that so cool!
wow. thats really cool presentation. r
How many clicks on the Comandante C40 did you use for the Syphon? Or did you use an automatic grinder? :)
Thanks.
Wawoo it's really nice
I can see a Comandante grinder on the table. How many clicks do you recommend for the Syphon?

The stock Hario burner is an alcohol burner with a wick and can be very slow. The burner he's using here is a Yama Glass Mini butane burner.
Thank you
Can we make it boiling again for more dark coffee?

its a laboratory distillery lab without the condenser for the same amount of money. lol.
Excellent tutorial!! You must be an educator of some sort?? Thanks!
i wonder why the others put water on the top container and you did not put water? 😅
Doesn’t the filter remove the oils? That’s where the flavor comes from.
Juuumm what do you suggest?
