Sherry, it kills me how you bravely whack off pieces and parts, pull out the glues and screws and go to town! If you’ve taught me anything, it’s to be unafraid when repurposing. And I especially love how you rescued that bench!
Oh, thank you, Donna! When I question whether to tear something apart, I always ask myself what is the worst that can happen? Of course, the worst is that I ruin it, but if it only cost me a few dollars, I figure the risk is worth it!
Thank you for sharing your creativity! All of the projects were beautiful, but I especially appreciated the dandelion cabinet, the cash box shelves and the bench.
The little cabinet at 15:30-my dad was born in 1917 and would have been in middle school around 1930ish. He told me the boys were required to take a shop class and make something out of wood.i have a little wooden crescent moon shelf with stairsteps on it that he made, and a little corner shelf that one of my older brothers made in shop class. Sometimes they will have wood burning or carving on them- your shelf appeared to have both. When you see the very dark, ,thin, lightweight wood used in older decorative wooden items, they are usually a boy's shop project that he made for his mom. ❤ I have seen others in thrift store, and was tempted to scoop them up, but i just don't have wall space to save them all! 😊 Your shelf project turned out so cute! Thanks for the ideas.
Sherry as always you presented another great video. I loved all your transformations. I can't believe you found the crewel fabric for so little. Have a blessed week and thank you for putting so much love and creativity in all your videos. ❤😊
Good morning. Usually I check your videos as soon as they are available. I was out of town but I am delighted to catch up this morning. As always, you never disappoint. My favorite projects were the apothecary cabinet,, the two tiered tray and the small 3 drawer unit. I loved the fabric that you used on the bench. Have a great day and thank your for sharing your creativity with us week after week!
I am always amazed at your projects. I don't always have the same items, but your ideas help me think of all the different possibilities that an item could become. This is my favorite channel!
the small wooden wall-mount shelf with the decorative door....could it be an antique wall-mount bread box? i looked it up to see if there were such a thing and while i didn't see any, i am convinced that's what it could have been used for, lol. the mini frame-within-a-frame floral print idea is fab! i like the little mini shelf and (what looks like an old) cash box combo. how interesting!!!! your "neighborly" bench looks lovely with the newly covered seat.
Sherry, I have to tell you, you are my FAVORITE creator!!!! Your imagination has no bounds and your work is impeccable! I so look forward to see your creations, just memorizing to watch you create! Keep up the beautiful work! Thanks for sharing your amazing ideas!
Loved the cash box storage rack - - it would look great in a bathroom with toiletries in the top part and perhaps some folded hand towels on the bottom wooden shelf. You are always so inspiring and it is amazing how you think "outside the 'box'"!❤
Best video ever! All of your makeovers were so creative and high end looking. I really enjoyed watching you work your magic on your garage stash. That’s what I’m about to do, start working through my hoard!! Great job as always❤️ T.
Sherry, I was going to tell you what my favorite up cycle was, but each one was as good if not better than the last so I never could make a choice! Girl, you are the best when it comes to trash to treasures!!😊
@@CanterburyCottage I stopped crafting for a few reasons and took all the diy ppl off my you tube EXCEPT YOU. You give me that itch every Monday. You are the Best
I think the bird left blue would be better. The redo of the shelf with doors was lovely. The transformation of the dark wood small cabinet was great; Wow, the bench turned out beautiful & useful.
Loved these! Now how about tackling our hoards of cereal box, amazon box cardboard and plastic bags stash? I accumulate these things then have no real plans...ditto toilet paper roll cores, ground coffee bags and pill bottles. Would be neat to have projects to use them up rather than whiling away my hours hunting for other diyers who do. Thanks again for your inspirations!
You inspired me more to upcycle, love the bench you rescued, it turned out an expensive piece. I love them all 🤣, you created something magical out of the box.
Sherry....WOW😮....that little bench upcycle was my favorite!!!!....you are SO creative!....and yes.... I'm feeling SO inspired by you....thank you!!!!👍😘❤️❤️❤️❤️
I know! The store clerk had no idea how expensive that fabric is (but, of course, the store got it for free). I am very selective about using it because I want to make the best use of it.
Great save on that cane bench. She's a real beauty now; that fabric is fabulous! Never thought to look for fabrics at the Habitat Re-store before. Now I'm on a mission! Thanks, Sherry!
Sherry, God blessed you with such a great imagination and a desire to create amazing little beautiful objects! You are such a joy to watch! Thanks for sharing all your creations! 💗
Sherry! I enjoyed the small cabinet where you put a poster in it. I love your finds! Also the damaged rack, where you put an old cash box with the snugly fit. Always great ideas from you❣️Thanks 🕊️🩵🤩😻
Three favourites this time: the little cabinet with the print at the back, the beautiful bench your neighbour gave you and the tiered rack with the metal box. Love them ❤
I get so excited when I see your videos! I know im always in for an inspiring journey. I bet your neighbor is going…man I love what she did! She gave it to the right person to make it fabulous.❤
The bench is gorgeous Sherry! I wasn’t fast enough on some of the items! I’ll be In your town tomorrow but I’m not sure if I’ll do any thrifting. There are a couple of charity shops and goodwills on the route!
I love the frame within the frame painting! Also, I agree with everyone about how unafraid you are, and how you can add a bird nest to almost anything, and still create the most amazing things! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Crystal! I do add birds and bird nests to everything! I used to add ribbon & bows to everything, too. I’m trying to control my use of birds and bows! 😜
The bench is my favorite!!! Fabric is gorgeous!!! So rich looking!!! Great work and excellent ideas for all your projects....most people would have tossed them!!! 😮❤😊
Sherrie, all amazing but adore both apothecary cabinets, dandelion and chloroform ones. The magazine rack into a box is gorgeous that green paint nice colour. You are so inspiring. Love from the UK 🇬🇧.
Oh my gosh Sherry! All your creations are beautiful! It’s hard to pick a favorite! The print with the little framed print attached to the front is very cool, adding that dimension. The 2 tiered shelf with the cash box…love it! The bench with the beautiful fabric…what a find! The dandelion display case! The wall shelf that you placed the little door inside! The apothecary chest looks authentically aged! The only one tiny detail i would add to something is to tie a little ribbon bow around the cat’s neck on the cat vase. You are the most clever woman I know! (Well, kinda know…kindred creators!)
The apothecary cabinet and the two-tiered tray were great. The apothecary cabinet might have been for a series of collectibles. That was a popular thing in the '80's. Like everyone else that bench was gorgeous. As a "fabricholic" I was drooling over your fabulous find.

Really liked all the projects but I have to say, the upholstered bench is gorgeous and my favorite! Thanks, Sherry!
Thanks so much! I was so lucky to find that lovely fabric.
Yes, but too bad she didn't take the time to finish the underside.

Thank you, Jayne!
I love all your projects but the bench is my favorite. It is beautiful.
I thought the bird on a pedestal and the bench were superb. The magazine rack was very good upcycling too. Lots of those at the thrift stores.

Thank you for the closeup of the glass and ceramic drill bit 8:03.
You are welcome. I was skeptical the first time I used those drill bits, but they work like a charm!
My favorite today was the seashell vase!
