Harbor Freight Tool Box Workbench Assembly & Review | Yukon 46 Inch

- I just picked up this 9 drawer tool box workbench from Harbor Freight. I got it for less than $400. It's made by Yukon. It's a good tool box for the price. All you have to do is install the handle and the 4 castors (wheels). In the video I'll show you how to unbox and assemble the workbench.
No tool needed. If you'd like to use your own tools 14mm and 12mm socket or wrench.

Big thanks! I misplaced the manual while inboxing, so your video was super helpful in getting this thing together properly.
Glad I could help
Just picked one up on sale for $289 in March of 24. Watched several vids. Good enough for me and within my budget. Score.
Great.
What do you think so far?
@@paulchavez2009 Love it. The liner sleeves are worthless, but better than nothing. Will eventually replace them. Heavily loaded drawers slide just like empty ones. I can't see a reason to spend more for a tool box. Save money for more tools. Would I like a MAC box? Sure. I'd also like to have a nice waterfront home in the Keys and another on the Maine coast, a super model GF, a Ford GT, a 34 inch waist, a nice farm, etc etc etc.
@@paulchavez2009 I like it, I use it in my warehouse so it doesn't really get abused. Just a box that holds tools.
Great video, thanks 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
I just got it in white, still trying to figure out how I’m going to get it out of my RAV4. They are $349 now and there is a $50 coupon on Harbor Freight. This one is going in my craft room😁. Thank you for assembling it on video, it’s going to help me👍🏽
Get some help, this is very heavy.
I am going to get one so I looked at several vids it just dawned on me watching you the reason the key flips over so it's convenient to leave it and lock the drawers in when your rolling it.
Cause we all know if 1200 lbs of tools in drawers go. Sliding out all at once it's gonna tip over
Yes. That is the reason.
i got one today, got it home and unboxed it. Checked the drawers before i started assembly and found that other than the top drawer the other drawers dont close easy like i feel they should. they close till like the last bit then i have to give them a pretty decent push to get them in all the way so that it can be locked. Pretty sure they arent suppose to be like that. Its going back for an exchange tomorrow
Yeah. That doesn't sound right.
Looks good. I thought about buying one for at work, the price was really attractive. I decided to buy the biggest us general and I'm happy with it, but sometimes wish I went for a smaller minimal set up instead. If I had to do it over I would have all harbor freight tools and a yukon box, and do my job with cheap stuff. More young guys should do this instead of a 15k snap on box imo.
Yeah no kidding. Don't get me wrong, snap on is great, but..
It's important that the washers are put onto the nut/bolt in the right order, so always make sure that you put the spring washer (the one that's split to give it more flexibility) on first and the flat washer on second. Load the spring washer onto the bolt first, and the flat washer second.
Thanks for the tip!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
glad someone said something lol
I was wondering if I was the only one who caught that
That’s the only reason why I looked at the comments was to see if somebody else spotted that
Nice box but would be nicer if it had soft close drawers. But very cool that it came with drawer liners.
Yes. Would be nicer if it came with a 12 pack of beer as well.
Ooo! 389. I just bought my second one to store nuts and bolts, for 289! 3/8/24
Great, thanks for letting us know.
I just bought one on sale at 399.00 with a 30% off coupon, I got it for 279.30 + tax
Great deal for a nice tool box.
Nice.
I just used a 25% coupon! Got it for $321 tax included. 👍
@@shelllythomforde2288did you use the 4th of July coupon? I tried using the 25% but cabinets did not qualify
would you say this is a good apprentice box? i’ve been working out of a shop owned ironton cart (😭) and I’ve been looking to upgrade, but i don’t know if this is too large or not
I don't know what size you would need. Box works fine though.
Have you compared this against the us general 44”? The price difference is quite drastic.
I just looked it up. The US General is $200 more for 2 inches less.
You think a vise can be mounted on the table top?
Yes
How heavy is this. I need to get this down 8 steps
It's pretty heavy.
about 175 lbs.@@NicholsCounty
What’s the height with wheels ?
37 inches
Did you measure it to be 37" exactly? Website says 37-1/8" I want to use it for outfeed on my table saw and that is 37 exactly.
T GC. 🎉
Okay!
