Hi there I just want to say your videos are priceless they have helped me so much in setting up my 50cc plane dual elevators expo I was struggling so much, back into the hobby after many years off, everything has changed so much, so just saying thank you so much cheers from New Zealand
@@BDTennessee Hi there what channels do I use for my flaps on my war bird I've got 2 flap servos on a nx 10 Transmitter and a AR 10100t receiver I'm struggling to sort it please help cheers
Hello i bought a large model with this set-up 2 servos on 1 elevator i found it a nightmare to set-up then i was lucky enough to have found your channel "done" all sorted thankyou so much i will keep an eye on youer video,s from now on .
Im having an issue with my NX10 with the left elevator not moving as far as the right elevator only in Safe Mode. I have the plane setup as a dual elevator type. Also under channel assignments left elevator is on channel 9. I have a 8 channel receiver. Left elevator doesn't show up in one of the other channels to switch it. How do I fix this issue?????
I have dx9 and set up my f15 eagle with dual elevators. I use channel 5 for my left elevator however now it doesn’t have safe on that elevator? The elevators use to be in a y harness but the old servo stop working so I put in a new one but use a different channel because I couldn’t get them to go in the right direction with each other. Even if I reverse them on the servo setup. I got them going in the right direction now using a different channel but it doesn’t have safe! Any ideas??
@@BDTennessee it’s a f-15 eagle 64mm from eflite and the receiver is a AR636B specktrum with as3x and dsmx.. I am not using channel 4 and that is were the rudders used to be but it physically did not have rudders that channel was used to control the nose gear. But I removed it because I did belly landings and I broke a while ago.. do you think maybe going into that channel will help? It is a 6 channel receiver.
SOS SOS SOS 😀 I got a DX7 and on my new project which requires dual servo on the elevator But servos moving different/opposite directions , I do have a Y conector on them I forgot how i did 10 years ago and it worked just fine with this set up . Any help/advise would appreciate it and thank you in advance . Safe and happy flying to you all out there 😄👍🙏
Frank, are servos moving both elevators the same way but opposite of the stick input (ie down elevator gives both up elevator) or 2 separate elevators with one going up and other going down?
@@BDTennessee no if that was the first case I would just reverse them from my DX7 system But yes to the second case : they work opposite from each other’s , one goes up which is fine and should in an elevator while the other goes down when I pull back on the elevator control on my radio

Thanks Wayne!
Thank you for the video. I didn't even realize there was the RX channel assign function.
Thanks for watching and comment!
Thanks. I returned to this video again. It doesn't seem that the menus on the NX8 are very intuitive. Thank you for posting these tutorials.
Glad it helped

@@jasegazzard3743 do you have fixed or retract landing gear? Also do you have multiple ailerons, elevator or rudder servos?
Very well explained and demonstrated. Indeed, another excellent video. Thank you!!

Change the elevator assignment in the RX p;ort assignment. Also make Channel 8 and 9 INH in channel assign.
They only travel differently in SAFE?

Gear is normally on Channel 5. So it may not have Safe or AS3X on that channel. Which F15 is it and what Receiver?

This works out great until you want to change the rates & expo. Then you have to do this another way. (NX10 c/w 8 channel RX)
No issues changing rates and expo.Move the elevator in RX port assignment to a physical channel on rx. (Ie Channel 7 or 8 : L Ele)
@@BDTennessee My mistake but I don't think I did the channel assign function. How I got around it was by mixing. ELV>AUX2
