Thanks a lot for the info. I struggled in multiple ways trying to figure out what was needed to get both ailerons working together on multiple rates. I had to go back into the opening setup to choose dual aileron channels before it would work.
Thanks for the videos, but I have a question. Trying to set up flaps on a plan without flaps from this video and another of yours, I can set the flaps, but I cannot get the servos in the same direction when using switch D for flaps. What can I do to fix this?
Check mechanical stuff first. Horn angle, rod length, hole placement etc... Still need to do electronically adjust in dual rate and expo. I have a video called "fine tuned onctrol surfaces" that answers this in detail.
Let’s say you DO want to use a Y splitter, how can you make the servos act opposite of each other in that case? You can’t reverse the channel because that would reverse both of them, correct?
Hello, Thank you for this series. I have a question. I've watched both the duel aileron and duel elevator set up videos and they say to use ch6/Aux1 for the extra servo on both. What if I am setting up both duel elevator AND aileron. Do I just pick another aux channel to assign?
Once you select both in aircraft type it will default to certain channels. Control surface can be reassigned in the System Settings > Channel Assign > RX Port assignment
@@BDTennessee thank you for the fast response! Yes, I found that out last night after I asked the question. I one aux 1 and the other aux2, reserved the servos running backwards and all is good. Again, Thank you for the NX series.
But what if i have a safe select receiver with AS3X (AR630), wouldn't this setup change the way the gyro currently behavies? Because my receiver's gyro is programmed on 1 channel Ailerons with a Y splitter. So how can i set up Flaperons/ spoilers and still be having the gyro features enable? My plane: Aeroscout s2 rtf My transmitter: nx8 Thanks in advance
Setting up dual aileron put each servo (left ail and right ail) on its own channel. You would need to unlock factory set AR630 to configure the AR630 correctly as well.
thanks..If it's even possible; is there any way you could do something on using' ailerons' as a partial flap mix, on a plane without flaps ? have a great weekend.
Thank you very much. That info sorted me out.
Glad video helped,thanks Tony!

BD thanks for the video. I love these short tutorials you’re doing. 👍👍
CM,thanks for watching! Short tutorials are affective and needed :)
excellent videos, straight to the point. Thank you so much.
Appreciate the comment and for watching Charley!
Yep! Thanks !!

You have on separate channels? What aircraft type is selected?
Once the wing configuration is changed, will SAFE mode work on the new dual ailerons?
How can I correct one aileron throws more than the other on spektrum receiver channels 2 and 6?

Correct would reverse both. Servo reverser lead could be used.
Thank you!
You're welcome!

@@johnhalligan2530 great, glad you got it working! Thank you John for the support :)
What does this do for trim?
Both will trim normal. Subtrim can be done each side too!
Is this the same for dual elevator ?
Similar setup. Dual elevator is set for release today :)
how did you assign Aux 6 to the lift aileron? Thats the hook up I wanna use.
Left aileron is automatically assign to channel 6. Enabled flaperons, then i go directly to channel assign and you see it there.
