Love to hear all 3 of you singing together in the beginning....her new bedroom is sweet....gorgeous sweater and no one will ever notice the mistake. Gives it character!
Yay, you fixed it!! Blocking will take care of anything else that is bugging you 😀. As an aside, I love my advent box. The colors are wonderful, can't wait to knit them up.
I reckon the unevenness will block out just fine! You’ll probably be the only person to notice anything amiss with the sleeve once the sweater is done. I’m at the start of a cardigan for myself (after making kids sweaters for months) but am slightly regretting picking something that’s knit flat…
I think your sweater mend is just fine! My knitting friend tells me in a situation as you had, “It won’t be seen on a galloping horse”! The only thought I had on top of your great repair is possibly doing some duplicate stitching on the right side. Loving your sweet vlogmas videos and I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday..🎄🎄. Oh, can’t wait to see the final makeover of your daughter’s bedroom!
Great episode. I would block it when done then duplicate stitch over the spots that there are any either bigger openings or wholes. I will pull them in and make the unified! Happy Holidays!
Love hearing the three of you singing together, precious memories! I used the recipe for sourdough that you make and made two loaves. It looked fantastic but it was almost wet sticky when I cut into it, should I cook it longer? I need to get an oven thermometer that's for sure!
How soon did you cut into it? I’d leave it for at least an hour otherwise it’ll be gummy. My oven runs hot and I bake at 240 C for 50mins so you might need an hour or longer ❤
Embrace the imperfect. It makes it your sweater, full of memories.
The singing at the beginning is adorable!! Welldone for fixing the mistake - mistakes in all crafts are just the worse to fix!

I think once it is washed and blocked it will look fine. You did a good job fixing it.
No one will notice at all. Love your little girl’s singing. So sweet!
Yay! Maxine made a come back! So proud of you and sooooo admire you for your hard work. ♥️ Wonderful
I’m glad you found a satisfactory fix for your sweater.
The room looks fantastic! Glad you were able to rescue your sweater. 😊

I am SO impressed with how you bounced back from the GSR disaster! I would have been tempted to let that one hibernate, but now it looks beautiful! 😊
Thank you!! I surprised even myself! But I am a bit thran at times haha
You persevered and did a great job with your sweater. The colors are stunning and you will look beautiful! Happy Christmas to you and your family! 🎄💕🎄
Bravo on the Maxine comeback!!👏
Also your daughter’s room is lovely!!!! Love her sweet voice singing in the beginning ❤
Wow, I think you fix looks great, I’d never have managed to get fixed. The colors of this sweater are fantastic, just beautiful.
Looks better than before, when I need to fix a pickup mistake, I find a crochet hook invaluable. Merry Xmas from Tasmania 🇦🇺🎸⚡️🤘🏼🤘🏾💋💙💙
It is looking wonderful- Sweater and your daughter's room! ⛄🎄❄

You did an amazing job of fixing that jumper. Go you. Once it's finished and blocked no one will ever know. Only you. Hahahaaaa

The fix will be fine, especially after time and wearing. As a basketry teacher once told me, regarding a minor mistake, only God will see it.
Have great day thanks
Sweater looks great
Rufus is the sweetest. What breed is he? ❤
Bedlington x Whippet- a lurcher type not a breed specifically
@ thank you. He looks so fuzzy and gentle.
Fantastic on the sweater…..😊
What is the blanket sitting on the back of the chair?
Just big granny squares in scrap yarn- no pattern
A great sweater repair job... no one will ever know once blocked but you
🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄❤️🎅🇺🇾
Congratulations on the Maxine repair, I can’t imagine repairing short rows! I’m sure once you block proper only you will know. 🧶
