I was on a tour in Shetland in July and was able to meet Donna and buy her wool. I used some to make her hat and mitten pattern and have made her snood and my own variations. If you want to venture farther afield for your interviews, you might want to talk to Farmer Tam from Wing and a Prayer Farm or Hello Stella Fibres.
Emma is it horse tail hair or horse body hair, I’m assuming it’s the tail hair, in the knitting belts???❤ I have 3 horses and might start saving their hair to make a knitting belt❤
What an absolute joy to watch and learn some interesting things as well - thank you Emma and Donna!
