I am beginning to realize that I am drawn to light musky florals, but this one smells a little soapy, but I like it. I think if you like Cashmere Mist, you'll love this perfume. This is actually my favorite Burberry perfume.
I get a lot of soft peach and some hot wood lol.... And shampoo! But on me this is sweet and fresh peach. After a couple hours I do get some hot skin smell going on... People compliment me on this one. It's so crazy how frags work so differently for each of us! Great review :)
I was suckered into buying it...however, I've grown fond of this fragrance. It's always my first choice, but it does smell fresh on me.

I'm 24 years old and I like classic girly scents. I have the Burberry body EDT and it lasts for a toilette and smells really good, fresh, light and clean and has a nice projection. Maybe the EDP smells less appealing or something....

You're right it is very hot smelling. Never thought to think of a fragrance that way. But I really think the right body chemistry can pull this one off. My best friend wears it and suddenly it smells more complex. Thanks for the review. So happy I found your videos.
Scents are so hard to describe (for me) but you can describe perfumes so well that everytime you are talking about them, I can almost smell them. Great review.
Your descriptions are so ... organic. I enjoy them every time. Speaking of clean fragrances, the epitome of clean perfumes, the ultimate laundry smell: Sicily by Dolce and Gabanna. Clean wet clothes hanged to dry in the sun of Sicily.

Sorry Katie, I adore this scent from Burberry, there are very few I enjoy from this house, but Body and Burberry touch for men are the best from this British house. Just my opinion ;)

@KatiePuckrikSmells It just occurred to me you meant the different between the new and 2006 Miss Dior Cherie. They are different: the new one takes out the strawberry, and it's now less distinctive.
I love the way you talk about perfume. Your language is so rich and delectable! It would be interesting to hear what you have to say about one of my all time favourite scents, which happens to be from the same house as this one, Burberry Women.
@madammoncherie Once I started getting more and more into perfume, I stopped exploring scented candles, because if I burn them, they interfere with being able to smell all the fragrances I review!
True story: went to Bloomies once to sample perfume. Sales lady RAVED about some scent that she claimed was wildly popular and I would love it. So, she sprayed some on my hand and said, "what does that remind you of?"
"Um, the bathroom cleaner smell on Exit 35 of the Pennsylvania turnpike?"
This made her ignore me afterwards.

@KatiePuckrikSmells Having just discovered Trésor for the first time and loving it, Body is but a pale shadow. Doesn't have Trésor's clammy-yet-intoxicating wet peach/rose/musk.
You are so right I bought this perfume and it is really just synthetic and pungent in a bad way not to mention it's very expensive, Last time I ever do a blind buy.

I got a sample of this and was pretty disappointed because, like you, I expected it to be much more of a natural/my skin but better fragrance. Something in it reminds me of candles I made as a teenager - which isn't awful, but definitely not something I want to wear.

This is the Eau de Parfum Intense, instead of the regular version, but still a pretty nice fragrance I think. I personally prefer Body Tender or the Eau de Toilette concentration. You should try those :) I may review Tender soon.
Great review. I'm calling this the tribute to Lancome Trésor or "90's throwback" for people that either forgot about Trésor or too young to know about it.
My husband summed this one up perfectly - Bath & Burberry Works
It hardly smells like Trésor. Almost completely different fragrances. Trésor is just an overpriced imitation of Exclamation by Coty which came out before, and Trésor doesn’t even last longer.
Haven't encountered it. And a more intense version of Body doesn't appeal...

Not a huge fan of it either, smells very ordinary to me. Have you tried the Armani exclusive or special range perfumes?? They are gorgeous especially the oud one!!! wonderful! but €200!! so needless to say i wont be purchasing :(
I have a sample of it, and I agree with you, It´s clean and soapy... It reminds me a lot of Gucci Flora, but Flora is nicer...
Wow, so many misses lately. Sad. Anyway, I just slapped on some body lotion from the goody bag I got on the one and only time I flew first class to France a long time ago and notice that this stuff is pretty good. It's from a company called Verve and it has bergamot and honey in it. It also kind of reminds me of lemongrass but maybe I'm just imagining it. It's a clean-ish smell that contrast nicely with tangy skin. So, this my perfume du jour.
Burberry black is my absolute favorite!! And watching all your videos i could probably say you'd love it aswell! Burberry london is also another phenomenal scent.

I did not find anything exciting in Body, again nice review! What are your thoughts on Lalique Le Parfum (for woman)? Have you ever tried it? I generally find Lalique a really decent perfume house and not so generic, altought not extremely weird

i thought it was a very ordinary generic perfume myself, was super disappointed. im a burberry beat fan myself.

I love burberry. I often wear burbrry brit. I picked this one up last year when it came out. I found it too be to strong I'm also not a fan of this scent.
Yes! I chatted to Smell Bent perfumer Brent Leonesio on the phone a couple of months ago. I'm partial to Bollywood or Bust.
@mlsuaarez116 Yep, they're 2 different perfumes. Miss Dior is an old school (1940s, but now reformulated) floral chypre, green and a bit bitter.
I've had a sample for awhile, and I tested it for a good week before leaving it.
I like Burberry Body, although it’s not one of my favorite scents but this review was hilarious 😂

i know burberry body. but last week i bought burberry body intense . and i tried it on my bdy. I was shocked. i didn't like that smell very much :(( after 1 h .i din;t smell it on my body anyway

I know what you mean, i hate angry soap!!!! when i want a fresh scent i go for a very green or vetiver smelling perfume.

Excellent review! Have to agree that Body is just too soapy clean for my taste, but it's great that it does work on some. On me, it smelled like I'd been cleaning up my house all day and still had some Mr. Clean Fresh Scent on my hands or something, LOL!
not angry soap but sharp one like a detergent laundry smell
I took a whiff of the nozzle at Sephora...I didn't even bother spraying it on a card. The only Burberry perfume I like is Brit.
I love the Chloe better. More depth, however I've never liked clean scents either. I can get soap in the shower lol. Great review! Hope things in your world are good:). Please review Coney Island by Bond no. 9. Thx.

Completely agree with you on this scent... I was expecting so much more from it, but ultimately was disappointed. I've been looking for a skin scent that works for me, alas, Burberry Body is not it.
I'm sooo glad you didn't like it, because I was terribly disappointed. I waited FOREVER for that "premier" sample that was being released to Facebookers before it was officially released. I hated it.
@zensation9 Just tonight I experienced the ultimate clean fragrance: #9 Eau Blanche by IUNX. A friend shared the bottle she bought in Paris. It's iris and musk and smells of fresh-washed linen. It's beautiful.

I would like to hear your opinion on Si Lolita by lolita lempicka, i just got it today and i adore it i think it is my favorite of the lolita offerings (that i've had the pleasure of knowing). but it seems like it has a lot of mixed feelings towards it. this is to me the best smell childhood memory i have ever had w a parfume, i don't like to wear it, too sweet, too "synthetic" and i do hate the sci-fi flacon... but i have a couple of testers that i use for comforting purposes;) like in the middle of the winter... a couple of drops in a scarf that i won't use... on at the air.... and smells like tila, or some flower tree w had at home.... azar? jazmin?

I didn't like it either. It smells exactly like wicker baskets and potpourri to me.
To me it smells like Chloe, it also smells something that I've smelled before over and over. Definitely not a fragrance I like.

A very boring scent that doesn't suit its awesome ad campaign...such a shame, cause this could have been WOW ( just like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in the ad), and they ruined it :/

i liked "Body" at first and then it gave me a headache.
didn't care for this one.....when it came out, we all wondered~ uh, where do you put the batteries? ; ) EW. i found this fragrance overly faux and plasticky. i also dislike freesia...i wanted it to be a skin scent as well, but it's just not. the oil is actually a prettier version, perhaps because as a carrier cools it down.
You are right. I'm disappointed nice bottle that's it. Using as a bathroom spray. strong angry soap is just what a bathroom needs.

I find Body to be an extremely unpleasant fragrance. Very harsh and artificial to my nose :(

I actually LOLed at "Silkwood shower."
