- As part of a new series "BEST OF DESIGNER" I wanted to feature the beautiful house of Hermes. Synonymous with elegance & class, Hermes has a wonderful array of fragrances. In this video I share with you my top 5 Hermes fragrances... enjoy!

I've just received a 100ml bottle of Eau Des Merveilles at a fantastic price! I couldn't agree with you more about this "elevated skin-scent", it is so moreish you want to keep going back to it. Also it's definitely unisex in my opinion although I do love fragrances that can lead slightly feminine. Teo Cabanel's Rendezvous is a current favourite of mine. I would love to see a review on that house and fragrance if you have experienced them. ❤️
I love Terre d'Hermès and the flankers are really good too. I love the intense vetiver version.
The whole Un jardin range is part of my favourites fragrances.
I also really enjoy their colognes (eau de citron noir, pamplemousse rose, rhubarbe écarlate...) and Kelly Calèche.
This house have an effortless chic DNA. This "less is more" that I find typically French 😉

Any iteration of TdH is wonderful! And although I started with the edt, I'm all about the parfum and Eau Tres Fraiche. Love that smoky accord in Eau de Citron Noir.
I like the fact that Hermès has an in-house perfumer as JC Ellena. Terre is such a milestone, that most of the earlier Hermès's masculine wardrobe was built among powerhouses with a leather note -Equipage, Bel Ami, etc. These and other masterpieces went through some nicely done revamps, under their master perfumer's supervision. From a designer brand, that is a strong point to their favor. Their unisex marketed collections are right up there with some niche brands -the Jardins and Hermèssences.

Absolutely. Having an in-house perfumer makes a big difference but also at Hermes they have more creative liberty to create fragrances compared to say a YSL or Dior. After all Hermes CEO said he doesn't care about trends, Hermes sets them!
Love the Hermes line as well. Thanks for the video! I am a huge fan of the Terre D'Hermes line and to work I like wearing Eau Intense Vetiver but it's hard to go wrong with any of them. Thanks agian!

I love all jardins and terre, but I particularly love eau de rhubarbe rouge which is a very unique fruity scent that really stands out and makes you happy and clean. Very spring summer and uplifting
When it comes to fragrances Hermes is my favorite designer brand. I wear Jour and Le Jardin sur le nil in the summer and L'ambre des Merveilles in the winter. I can't wait to try the Lagune one. It sounds like something I would love. (My least favorite is Faubourg - way too powdery.)

So good video. I have Terre D'Hermes edt and I enjoying every time I pulls it off. The house is a elegant house that making timeless fragrances which everyone should own at least one fragrance from the house. Well thanks for the video I enjoyed that.

I love Hermés very much. To me this brand means sophistication. The 'Jardin' fragrances are real gemstones, I love all of them. My personal favourite is Jardin Sur Le Nil with that distinct green mango note. I also love Hiris and Eau De Pamplemousse Rose Concentrée. Unfortunately, Hermessence fragrances are not so accessible. I would like to try some of them, e.g. Iris Ukiyoé or Violette Volynka. Great brand!

I just purchased a travel spray combo. Rhubarb Ecarlate, Basilic Pourpre, Jardin sur la Nil & Jardin de Cythere…they’re all so lovely and unique, yet refreshing and approachable. Can’t wait to wear them when the weather warms up 🤩
Saw your collaborative vid on Curly’s channel. Going to order a Eau de Citron Noir sample and see how it fairs. I have mini religious experiences wearing SMW, so anything fesh + citrus + tea will always grab my attention. Thanks!

Thank you for beautiful reviews! :) I love Terre. but its just a tiny too masculine for me. However, Voyage is my long time favourite and a signature! Just gorgeous scent... I like the EdT better than EdP though- fresher and also funnily longer lasting. Other favourites from Hermes are Eau des Merveilles Bleue and Eau de Rhubarbe.

My favorites so far are John Varvatos Original, Terre D Hermes, Aqua D Gio, Mont Blanc Individual and Burberry Brit
I still have many more fragrances I want to try.

Hermes and Chanel are my favorite designer brands.
Just made the mistake and smell the edt of Voyage d'Hermes, and bought the edp..... Much different fragrances, original is much more interesting.
Also one of my favorite of Hermes, beyond of what you mentioned, is Concentre d'orange verte. So realistic, so beautiful!!

Eau des merveilles has been one of my most complimented fragrances of all times and Sur la Lagune is one of my favorite summer scents with impressive longevity until the next day of apply. What would you recommend for me for my next purchase Eau de Rhubarbe Ecarlate or Citron Noir(or is this too masculine?) or another Hermes? thank you 🌸
Thank you! I haven’t tried Eau de Rhubarbe properly so wouldn’t be able to tell you. Eau de Citron Noir is beautiful but definitely more masculine
Nice video Jus, I still remember wearing Hermes EDT on an event long time ago. Will add to my wish list ( thanks to the Pandemic ) the Eau de Citron Noir, truly agree on the quality of this brand. They have a huge stand in Saks Fifth Avenue, just close to the main entrance, with lots of different products. Can't remember, though, when was the last time I bought an Hermes scent. All the best !!

Great video thank you, i love Hermes i wore" l' ambre de merveilles: for a long time loved it, but there is the longivity them, smells great at first but then the smell disappears from the skin!!! i haven't try anything else of the house of Hermes although i found them really classy because of that !!

Got my bottle of Eau de Citron Noir this morning, as your descriptions made it sound like it would be right up my alley. Citrus "freshies" are all good and fine... but a "dark" citrus!? That sounded awesome, and indeed I am lovvvvvving it so far (2 hours in). To my nose, the citrus is more subtle and well-blended, which is awesome because I am in LOVE with the smokey-ambroxan vibe. Lately, I've lost my fragrance sweet tooth, and it's so hard to find non-sweet summer fragrances, so thank you very much for this incredible find!

I am a man. I despise most perfume; I often find it offensive and overpowering. The two exceptions are Caleche and Kelly from Hermes, which sadly are not mentioned here. These are head-turning, exceptional scents. I have gone as far as ordering discontinued stock from Argentina in bulk for my love interests.
Hi Jus, I got all the flankers of Terre d'Hermes and I must say, I prefer the Pure Parfume version. I know the top notes are not like the EDT version (fresher), BUT the notes are blended better and so well in the Parfum version (even the top notes). The vetiver and the quality is so good in this version. It has the best drydown of all flankers. It's deeper more masculine. As a Niche Parfum lover I use the Pure Parfum more :-)

Love Hermes. My favs from designer line are TDH eau tres fraich(more orangy fresh version), un jarding en meditiranee, Concentre-d-Orange-Verte, elixir de marveilles(salty amber) etc. And from high end line i love epice marine, vetiver tonka, cuir ange, ambre narguile. All great ones but so pricey.
Fabulous fragrances! I really enjoy Vetiver tonka as well and after smelling it recently it’s giving me mild bal d’Afrique vibes...

Terre and Encre Noire (og and parfum for both) are my signature scents. Wood and vetiver are the best notes in perfumery
IMHO, Hermes doesn't get enough play in frag comm !
I only have Terre D'hermes (Parfum) and Bel Ami Vetiver (EDP) in my collection.
I get numerous compliments with Terre D'Hermes . . . not so much with Bel Ami Vetiver. ( I wear both when suited up )
Voyage sounds interesting, as does Eau De Citron Noir !

Terre is great for a man; way too masculine for me . I love the gorgeous Jardin sur le toit and I’m very surprised it doesn’t get much attention! It is my favorite along with Delina Exclusif by Marly.

Hello Josephine ! J'aime beaucoup Un jardin sur la lagune mais une note me "dérange" Après quelques heures.. certains disent qu'il s'agit du Iso E Super, je ne sais pas si c'est ça ? Est-ce que tu ressens aussi cette note qui "prend au nez" sur toi ? Je me demande si c'est une note qui plaît ou risque d'être trop dérangeante pour l'entourage..

Voyage is criminally ignored. It has a great cardamom note. Ellena's DNA from Declaration is pretty clear in that and in Terre imo

Josephine Please help me understand why Hermès Eau D'Orange Verte EDC is always ignored. Is it because it has a 5 minute lifespan, or its cheap or somthing else? I own all of the line (soap, body wash. deodorant, cologne and intoxicating body cream) Also, based on your review I just now purchased a Terre D'Hermes as well as Layton. Please help me understand why Eau D'Orange Verte is ignored - Cheers! SW10 Neil in Manhattan
Big fan of Hermes. Have Terre Parfum in my collection and but really enjoy many others I have sampled including a few of the Jardin line - although I need to get my nose on the Lagune as an option for my GF (she often wears Jardin en Mediterranee). Would love to hear your thoughts on the Hermessence line as well. :)
Will definitely look into the Hermessence line, they’re quite hard to get hold of - hopefully easier to discover once the stores open again!
Jus de Rose definitely. I used to do most of my perfume sampling in Duty Free (Heathrow) when on work travel but not had the opportunity for obvious reasons!
I have a decent of Hermessence Vetiver Tonka, and I love the scent, but the sillage and longevity are terrible, especially when you consider the price point.

Hermes is one of my most favorites house at all, they do really high quality fragrances. I also own Terre d'Hermes EdT and really love it. What's actually your opinion on Un jardin sur le Nil? Women around me love it and they would like to wear it for themselves..
Savas Kapan I wear Un Jardin Sur Le Nil myself and it is one of my favourites. I like that it is peppery and very inoffensive. Perfect for work.
I think women can definitely wear it although it’s not my favorite from the un jardin series. Nonetheless is good perfume!

I have Elixir des Merveilles and it makes me crazy! I thought it was the original.. And I also have Eau Des Merveilles Bleue which I didn’t like at first, not until I smelled the Elixir because after that I could smell the Merveilles DNA in the bleue version .. do you like that one at all? I probably won’t ever wear it because I love my Elixir.
I have to put my nose on it again... will do when stores open!

Hermès fragrances are realy good and in my opinion underrated. I like Hermès Terre d'Hermès, but my number one is Terre d'Hermès Eau Intense Vétiver.

I did get it personalised yes! A lady was doing engravings at the Hermes counter in store and they were so beautiful I couldn’t resist!

It's hard to say. I find it to be unisex leaning towards feminine but it's a musky skin scent so if you enjoy that perhaps try a sample :)
Oh and as for Initio my top 2 are Oud for Greatness & Atomic Rose. Full house review coming soon :)

Angelic , and I love Merveilles on my wife.
However, I’ll spray EDT on me then mix in a tiny amount of the Merveilles. Something in the Merveilles that almost makes it unisex.
