I just got a V730 I’m planning and running my V3X-29 in. Running almost the same set up. Just trying to figure out where to store my arrows. My spot hog fast Eddie sits a little high with the yardage knob. Was considering possibly a mag pull daka organizer. But now I’m going to investigate. Putting arrows in the lid. Maybe I can harvest an arrow holder from an older case and make it work! Appreciate the inspiration. Looking forward to my grizzly hunt now!
Great video. I did something similar with the vault 700. Although it turned out to be too small (I didn’t take the time to measure accurately), it worked in a pinch but I don’t feel comfortable with the cams up against the ends of the case. Keeping the 700 for long guns and plan to order another pelican for my bow. The 745 is nearly $500. This is a great cost saving option. Great work again, thanks for sharing!
@@jp1419 yeah I 3D printed some that I designed and then used velcro to secure them to the inside of the lid. I wish I could post a picture here to show you. It came out really well!
Did you try just cutting the first layer or foam? I’m hoping to just cut one in case I every switch bows I can just switch the foams and cut the bottom layer to fit my next bow.
The only problem is Big bows don’t fit. The Mathews Atlas will just barely fit width wise with about 1” of foam. I prefer more foam than that to protect against a drop.
Yes, I packed a vault 700 earlier this month. I put two TSA approved padlocks on it. Flying from PDX to Ohio, they didn’t even ask me to open it up. Same for the way back. They’re more concerned with guns and once I told them it was a bow, they were not concerned. They even let me check it as regular luggage.

This is great. Totally rethinking bow cases now. This seems like the most secure and a LOT cheaper than other options.
Great review bud! Been looking for a review in this case for my Realm X. Awesome job!

Thanks for the video. I was thinking about doing this and here it is!
Good overview, thank you. Cool Chair Force sticker.
Thank you. Great video.
That I exactly what I was looking for thank you
Thanks for the review bud
Great job! I’ve been trying to think of a good way to do the arrows in this case and that looks solid! What quiver is that?
Michael Rech, Thanks. The quiver is the Easton Flipside 3 Tube. I got it on amazon.
awesome rig. what kind of glue did you use on the cap panel to keep the foam in place?
Nice work, I did the same thing for my VXR 31.5, I wanna come up with a way to hold arrows also but I'm unsure of how I want to proceed.
Figure out how to mount arrows ?

I was so happy to see your comment. I got the vxr 31.5 as well. Ordered this case because of your comment. Thanks

Hi , My name is Tim and I have just ordered the 730.
Great job on yours but what did you use to cut the foam?
thanks in advance
Tim. It’s kind of unconventional, but I used a very sharp fish knife. If I could do it over I think I would have gotten a hot wire foam cutting tool.

Go with the pelican vault 800 then
How did u fit the arrows?
What's exterior length
