P&G is one of the few companies I would actually buy and hold forever. It's gratifying to walk around the world and see their products as a shareholder.

Awesome picks. I was mainly just buying SCHD, O, MAIN and BST in my dividend account but I decided to add dividend growth stocks in my growth account this year. Going with MSFT GWW LMT SNA COST HD INTU PEP V WM and SBUX. I’ve been an AAPL holder since 2018 and can’t complain. Definitely a compound machine.

I experienced the same with my friends. So i started and investors club with my friends were don't give investors advice, but share knowledge. Starting with the most basic stuff. What is a stock, bond, etf, etn, dividend? How to spread risk, what to expect on average returns, what is te central bank and what does it do. Etc. Etc. Anyone can chip in questions or share knowledge. It's tonnes of fun!

@rynewilliams we just started with meeting once every two months and discussing different topic we shared on the group chat from day to day. Make small table of contents to discuss, some prepare some bit of information to make it more easy to share.

I know it’s more of an intro video, however it would be nice to see payout ratios and FCF growth.
A growing dividend policy is nice, however without a growing cash supply the dividend is in trouble.

Haha I agree, that’s the tricky part! You just have to find the willpower to only pick your favorite candy I guess.

In my opinion. Both.
My humble opinion is to hedge your individual stocks with shares in an etf like schd.
Qualified dividends like stocks are taxed at a lower rate than those from ETFs. Tax rates for qualified dividends are 0% up to around $40K/year. ETFs tax same as income tax. REITs however are not qualified and have a different tax structure.
I don't think there's any reason you couldn't do both, but I definitely think one should at least have an ETF as the foundation of their portfolio when first starting out
Build your ETF to Minimum of 10k$
And then start a position in individual stocks.
Allocate your ETF to a minimum 50% and set your single stocks not more than 5% each.

The only ones I don’t own are : HD, Lowes, and Target. I own 22 individual stocks, vtsax, Schd, and VTI. I was honestly beating myself up for not setting up my portfolio like Joseph Carleson and go all in in growth stocks but I guess I want to stay dividend focused. What do you think?
Joseph has some dividend payers in his portfolio. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a mix of both
I got some non dividend stocks like Tesla and Google which are good to fuel the portfolio a bit.. little exposure to crypto too

Hi i'm from the Netherlands and sure we love the American stocks like Mac Donalds etc. But we have in Europe more like big insurance companys. And those are paying al lovely dividend % and growing there dividend nicely every year. But if i watch American UA-camrs i never see insurance companys. It is funny too see that we both heave the same plan but on the other side of the world we doing investing a little bit different.
The dividend investing community sure does stretch far and wide!

They’re different companies believe it or not. KO manufactures and markets the beverages, and COKE is the distributor. As far as which one is better and why, that’s up for you to decide.

$SPG Is a good one. It pays every 3 months tho. Right now i recieve 15$ in dividends from this stock and I only have bought 9 shares
