There's always something to learn new tax brackets non qualified or qualified dividends the % of which dividends are taxed when your single and or married. I'm starting my individual account I call it my right now money account. I guess I'm just a nerd lol.
Deffinatly in the boring middle but still excited knowing there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Just at a spot where I now know what I am doing and just got to keep doing it.
I am probably on Level 4. The combination of income from dividends, an occasional swing trade, and rental properties easily supports me. But, I am so successful with rentals (after years of losing), that I cannot justify selling out, yet. My income from dividends needs to rise.
Well thanks to your help 8 months ago when I started. I'm killing it in 3 BDCs. Although I had to trade MAIN for Pennant the price and dividend made sense. The way Blue Owl is going I'll be making big. Average 10.5% dividends in my bdc bag
Great video Ryne! I definitely relate to the boring middle but also love the second wind and have been starting to feel that more the past few months. Also 100% agree with you on Visa, gonna also put an emphasis on them long term cause their earnings/MOAT is so good! Keep it up💰💪
I am 3.5 years in as an investor, and just about 1.5 years in as dividend investor. My ETFs are for early retirement, the dividend will be my margarita money once I reach my real retirement age( and my retirement savings). For the coming half year I wont be investing very much in dividend stocks. I have lowered my working hours to get more education (and later better pay) so both money and time is lacking for dividend stocks. I will still keep up my investments in ETFs. The retirement age in my country is 68-69 at the moment. Its getting higher for every 5 years.
Started div investing 2021 when following gamestop saga. Made me do some research and learn about all this investing stuff. I guess I'm still in level 1 :P
Safe to say I'm around level 2. Quite knowledgeable on investing, stocks, research. Now its just keep contributing and buying more and more. Hopefully I can do this till I'm retired. Would be that dream come true of financial independence.
Def in level 2...however have the excitement of level 3. Question tho....Do you DRIP your positions? I have been going back and forth on if I let them reinvest, or if I take the income and reallocate as I see fit?
I don’t know what is about Ryne but he feels like someone I can trust… it’s weird! I think it’s because he seems so honest and so… real. Like it’s a guy. It’s a person. A human being that shares tips in a human way…
Hey Ryne I’m 20 years old I don’t own a lot rn I only own a few stocks aswell as partial shares within VOO,SCHD,AMZN,NVIDIA, XOM, and CGC which I’m thinking of focusing primarily on like 2 of individual stocks n rest on ETFs. I’m just nervous because I feel behind 😭I only put like $40 a week or every other week. Would u recommend me growing these ETFs or should I buy them thru a ROTH IRA,Like M1 finance.
April 2024 was my 2 year mark. My dividends are currently at $1200/month. I enjoy my current job so I have the best of both worlds. Plan on continuing my investment strategy until 62 1/2 and/or $10,000/month.
I would say I am Level 2…investing equally between SCHD, JEPI and JEPQ…not sure I will ever be in Step 3 or just skip over it. Hopefully only 5 more years to go!
Still on level 1, currently my dividends are able to cover 11.34% of my costs (3 months average), level 4 is on 100%, and where is level 5, is that 150%, 180% or meaby 200%?
Go to my sponsor snhu.edu/ryne and see what the current average annual salary for someone with a Finance degree is and learn how you can get started.
I don't know bro 2 years in and I'm just as excited as when I first started lol. But I constantly see my dividend income grow every payout 😂
Level 6: building generational wealth
100%
At level 5, reached fat FIRE on a teacher's salary. Currently training my replacement before I retire. Visa is one of my favorites, also.
Heck yea, great job Rex!
Making spreadsheets always helps me stay motivated. It helps me to see that finish line that seems so far away.
Good point
Good breakdown, Ryne!
2 of my favorite guys to watch 😎
Thanks dude!
I'm in stage 1 Just getting started. I just hope I have enough time.
You got this Todd, keep climbing!

That doesnt make you a nerd my friend! its super important to know all these things about your money growth for long term FREEDOM!
True that Jeff...there is ALWAYS something new to learn. That's the fun of it, in my opinion
You had me at dividend.Take my thumb.
Haha I love it
Deffinatly in the boring middle but still excited knowing there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Just at a spot where I now know what I am doing and just got to keep doing it.
Absolutely, keep climbing my friend!
Hello Ryne, i'm in level 2 going in level 3 when the market is down.
Congrats and have a nice day.
Thank you Rui! I appreciate you tuning in
I am probably on Level 4. The combination of income from dividends, an occasional swing trade, and rental properties easily supports me. But, I am so successful with rentals (after years of losing), that I cannot justify selling out, yet. My income from dividends needs to rise.
That makes sense Duke, congrats on being at level 4...that's awesome!
@@rynewilliams You're well ahead of me -- at least when I was your age!

Thank you for sharing that!
I had to restart . Chose to pay off some debt . Now I just have mortgage. Still have a 401k and a Roth IRA. But started my portfolio back up .
I bet it feels good to pay off that debt though

Absolutely man! What's been giving you your second wind, any ideas?

I’m in between 1 and 2. Trying to grow my portfolio 🎉
Keep it up my friend!
I definitely fluctuate between levels 2 and 3.
Yea it'll continue to happen too! It's all good though
Started div investing 2021 when following gamestop saga. Made me do some research and learn about all this investing stuff. I guess I'm still in level 1 :P
Haha you're on the right path either way my friend

I agree!

I don't DRIP my positions. I used to, but I started manually reinvesting my dividends

You too Norman!
I love dividend
Me too!

Wow...$1,200/month in only 2 years. That's unreal
I would say I am Level 2…investing equally between SCHD, JEPI and JEPQ…not sure I will ever be in Step 3 or just skip over it. Hopefully only 5 more years to go!
5 more years isn't bad...it'll go by in the blink of an eye!
For me level four is a long way off. I would consider it to be when most of my regular paycheck is going to pay the taxes on my dividend income.
Yea I'm still quite a ways away from level 4 as well
I'm on my 2nd wind since hitting $100k. Looking towards $200k.
There you go!
Thanks a lot
Thank YOU
I think I am very close to level 4😮
That's awesome!
I feel like I'm in the middle of my financial journey
100%
Amazing job man, can't wait to look at your stream for 100k subs 100k portfolio ;)
Keep it up
Thank you my friend! 100k in both departments will be awesome
Well said, sir.
Thank you!
Hit milestone of 1250/annualy after tax. On to the 1500mark!
Heck yea, great job!
Still on level 1, currently my dividends are able to cover 11.34% of my costs (3 months average), level 4 is on 100%, and where is level 5, is that 150%, 180% or meaby 200%?
That's pretty impressive!
Great video! I am on 2 now😅
Nice man!
Ryan, Is there a way for us to connect as I need to discuss few things
Absolutely. Feel free to email me at ryne@retirewithryne.com
Once I hit 900k I would say I'll be at my home stretch
That's a solid amount
My stock portfolio + my Ira give me a total portfolio of $141,600
If I can start contributing agin after my surgery procedure
Should be able to get the Ira on the same level as my stock portfolio
I'm at the beginning. about $700 annually
And thats what you call the beginning ???
Wow, that's awesome!
Slow burn
