Nice review and helpful as you went over the various controls. Bought one at my local Home Depot for $144 (inflation I guess) and put it in my medium sized crawl space. Seems to be working well and keeping the humidity in there at about 45%. Empty the bucket every day or two.
Got one of these a few days ago, and I am not certain that the unit is keeping tabs on the humidity after it reaches the desired humidity level and shuts off, because I had to turn it back on manually, and when I did, it sensed the humidity at 15% more than what it was displaying before I touched it.
Thanks for the vid. I thought the percentage was how much I wanted it to dry and set it on 80 and then wondered why it wasn't doing anything haha. Many thanks for this vid.

I just got 2pc to my bussines, but i dont know what happened that as soon as I pluged to the power and they turned in and cant turn off, its as if the control panel didnt work… do you have an idea of this?

You went from 65% to 50 in an hour?! I've been running mine reading 55% (set to 40%) for 10 hours and it has only come down to 53%. What am I doing wrong?
I need help, my son vomited on top of our humidifier its inside the unit in/on the fan inside can I hose it out with water? How can I clean it? Please help
If you choose to use a drain, is it safe to plug the hole that drains into the bucket? Because mine is still leaking in there which I am trying to prevent because once they get the musty smell in them it's nearly impossible to get out, then the dehumidifier circulates the smell throughout the entire room. Had to throw away two for that same reason.
I have the same issue. I added a short threaded washing machine hose and it still drains out of the little hole inside where it drains normally intoy he bucket. There is no mention of an adapter piece in the manual to divert the water from the inside kf the bucket out to the hose. I was gonna put a little drop of silicone in case i need to remove it for later use

It will completely shut off and turn on as needed
Does the drain have a pump? Or will I have to set my unit higher than the drain in order not to spill water all over my floor?

you can use simple green cleaner let it soak and hose it off, it should be fine

I've the same model. I filled up the bucket and after a few minute it pop up the empty light to change the water why it happen this?
Your not suppose to put any water in it. It will take water out of the air and fill the bucket after about 30 hours you dump the water out

It's not loud but it's not silent. It's about as loud as my air handler, maybe a little quieter. Probably closer to a stand fan.

I have a brand new GE dehumidifier and it drains in the bucket and a hose IS connected to unit..any ideas

Why mine is stay 80% humidity? I set it up 65% or 70%,,,but it still go back up to 80% Is anything wrong? Please help me thanks 🙏
set it to 65 it will display the current humidity and go down to your set %
