This is fun to see all these comments. Seeing all of your respond greatly to the teachings. When I filmed this with Blake, I was eager to get to work producing this video. Please grab your friends pass this info on in your circles. We can all come together.
Your perspective, based on your past, is VERY valuable to the civilian sector. So many in the civilian community build their kit based on past military experience, or the advice of others- and that worldview was "available resupply, available support" That is a distinct and usually overlooked difference. Thank you, sir.
This channel is underrated, thank you for putting these out, I hope you grow to make more money, but I also hope you continue to be small so the content never changes. Thanks again for what you do
@@Blakewater0326just put out solid teaching videos. Most of what us civilians would be doing if we really needed our kit is basically what you did. We won’t have any resupply or support of any kind. Small unit tactics and kit considerations for small unit movements without support
Thank you for talking about hydration. So many people don't even comment on hydration. As an ex infantryman myself, I know how important it is to have water on your person.
Solid info all around. I appreciate solid, and straight to the point information. I have owned a few rigs personally (haley strategic, spiritus etc). But recently I turned in my old, FLC for a new TAPS. It does have flaws, but it serves its purpose and I believe for the price and customizability it cannot be beat. Venture Surplus has some solid videos on it. Then I got introduced to a split rig. And man I fell in love. Easy on/off, nothing directly in the front of you and my personal split rig can be swapped between 556 and 308/6.5 mags. It holds loads so much better than the TAPS or any other system I've owned. My current setup has me with 2-3 quarts of water, 10-16 556 mags(8 easy access, 2 in a Spiritus SPUD, 2-4 in GP pouch), 2 frags, 2 TQ's, full IFAK (In a roll 1 dangler on my left side), radio and 2 large GP pouches that I'm still testing out for how I want them organized. VS my taps that hold 6-8 556 mags max of 2 quarts of water, 2 frags and 1 medium GP pouch and a radio while not supporting the weight very well. I used a custom made dangler mod for my ifak. This is of course, my opinion and I have not used the TAPS or my split rig in any combat situation. Only FTX's so far.
Thanks so much for doing these videos, I've done pistol and carbine courses, low light, vehicle courses but feel like classes like this are probably the next step in my progression and even better, it gets me out in the woods
Just subscribed. I am not military in any way, but I do want to learn to better protect those I care about. I appreciate this man, thank you for making your content available to us regular joes.
These videos are tremendously helpful. We be passing it on to others leaders within my unit. Lots of new guys with little experience and even those of us who’ve been around can learn much from your deep well of knowledge.
So glad to see your doing more on UA-cam! I love your stuff on IG but I’m happy to see the long form content with more in detail explanation! Keep up the good work brother!
Good video, thanks. As the comms guy I have radios, drones, some batteries, antennas, etc. I'm usually rocking a Camelback 2-day pack w the padded waist strap because as you note, that stuff all needs some pouches and you don't want it to get crushed!
This guy looks exactly what I would think a recon guy would look like. Straight out of a movie. Thanks for the great info the TAPS rig is coming back nowadays in a big way.
I thought it was a joke at 1st because Blake was in my auto play n all the conments were about how they werent gay but Blake was making them gay. But then i actually watched the video. This will be in the top 10 guntuber channels within a year. Blake n Chrisky are the freshman all stars like The Source magazine.
Great info 👍. My kit is similar to yours. BUT, I'm just a little smaller than you. Mags are located differently when you're built like an eighth grader.
@Blakewater, REALLY GOOD CONTENT! 👍🏼🔥👍🏼🔥👍🏼🔥 I am curious where you get your gloves? I had a pair of those same gloves, but they wore out and I cannot find them anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PIG gloves are carried by a lot of vendors online. Just internet search and you'll get many results, though SKD Tactical is the seemingly "official" home for PIG equipment.
Wanted to stay more low key so i got a hiking backpack instead of a tac backpack. With that said i can attest that the Osprey Archon 70 works perfectly with a Thing 2.
Yo, no fucking shot you actually use Emby Blades! That guy was my old PltSgt when I hit the fleet! Man it's great to see his dream and company actually took off and he's doing well for himself.
Thanks brother, good vid! It's good to get perspectives from people who have different experiences. Where did you get that Tigar Stripe Boonie hat? IT looks like a nice one, and I need to replace mine.
Good information. I like the simple idea of equipment to take life and save life. 2 questions - you mentioned you prefer the chest rig over a belt rig, Reasons? And what Garmin GPS were you running there? Nate
This isn't about advocating for one platform over another, though having used Y and H harnesses and various load bearing vests I can say: chest rigs interface with rucks and packs better. However, as long as folks understand how to set up their fighting loads it really doesn't matter what they use as a platform.

Algorithm and the war effort
+1. This was a random video in the feed. Now it’s a subscription and I’m looking forward to binge watching to catch up.
Gotta say this channel has re inspired me to keep my kit close on our off grid homestead. Complacency is a killer.
Fact of the matter is, you have to get out in your kit and stay active and on top of your procedures. Complacency definitely kills

I'm not a fan of doing reviews, and though it will be necessary I also hope to not become a gun review channel.

This series of videos is going to be so huge for your channel. We all can’t thank you enough for coming out with this kind of updated content
I can’t believe I’ve never seen this Chanel. Great material
Need more people like you making videos. Seems like most tubers are just selling their sponsors to us
That's part and parcel when you get sponsors. I currently have none, so it's not something I need to concern myself with, yet.
Well spoken and prepared.
Hi from Australia
Pretty stoked UA-cam recommended something useful. Awesome channel. Semper Fi brother

Looks like florida landscape. Training in florida, if it is, is quite unique and awesome in my opinion. First time watching your video, nice job! 💪🇺🇲
Bit further north, though the geology and flora does look strikingly similar from the Carolinas down to Florida.
Awesome, i try to train and learn as much as i can. Enjoying your videos very much. Thank you.
Thank you 🙏
Thanks man good stuff
Sooo much to learn here - thank you
Thumbs up for the intro
Don't stop this good stuff

What brand is your “Nut-Ruck’?
CSM Gear
Just deleted my Instagram. These videos are perfect for the sniper section. Thank you
Nice Video! Thanks for the Infos.
Thx keep it up
appreciate the knowledge

Algorithmic stimulation 🎉
You have 4 type of camo is that to blend better with environment or just because you like it
1,000% begin training in open environments. Patrolling, movement to contact, actions left & right, peeling, etc.
THEN sign up for CQB type of classes.
Yo, no fucking shot you actually use Emby Blades! That guy was my old PltSgt when I hit the fleet! Man it's great to see his dream and company actually took off and he's doing well for himself.
Then this guy shows up outta nowhere and starts posting some good fucking food
Army cav scouts is somewhat the same s.o.p. very informative,we usually went out in five man recon teams.
Thanks brother, good vid! It's good to get perspectives from people who have different experiences. Where did you get that Tigar Stripe Boonie hat? IT looks like a nice one, and I need to replace mine.
That Tiger stripe tho 🤌
I would love to know the breakdown, what brand rig, what attachments, how you did it up etc.
💯
Who makes the Chest Rig you showcased? What model is it?
Tracer tactical stout scout
Good information. I like the simple idea of equipment to take life and save life. 2 questions - you mentioned you prefer the chest rig over a belt rig, Reasons? And what Garmin GPS were you running there?
Nate
Chest rigs work with rucks better and sit high enough that nothing is riding on my hip flexors as I ascend hills. The Garmin is a 601.

Thanks
Did you happen to get your shirt from the gear company that is in Hamilton Montana?
Just found your channel definitely hit the sub button
If Talon Sei were a yoked operator. Hahaha!
Great info, makes sense. K.I.S.S. Thank you. 🤙🏼🇺🇸
