Just bought platinum with all features. We had a decked out explorer limited before and this pathfinder blows it out of the water. The comfort and feel to this car is incredible. I drive a GMC Sierra and this car is up there with cabin comfort and smoothness. I never would have thought I would purchase a Nissan pathfinder. SO much better than the Atlas, Telluride & Pilot that we test drove.
We are looking to lease the Nissan Pathfinder Platinum. Did you buy or lease. I have to agree we have a newer Jeep Cherokee, test drove a new Grand Cherokee Limited and a GMC Arcadia Denali. The Nissan is well above all the vehicles. The lease is super high though?
@@jamess.9164 That is awesome! I was impressed by the Pathfinder at the price point it's just a pain going from a lease to a lease little to no equity.
I would absolutely love to hear how this Nissan blows a refreshed 2025 Ford Explorer “out of the water”. Nissans are known to be tinny and loud with a lot of horsepower Ford is known for quality. I would love to hear your explanation I owned Fords and they were rocksolid. I’ve had friends with many Nissans, and they were tinny and loud.
I was shocked how quiet this car is and how comfortable the leather seats are. Listen, I liked the Explorer we had but Ford had so many recalls and then everything started falling apart after 80k miles. That could happen to any car I suppose but this platinum we got truly was much more comfortable than any other car. It’s a personal preference, opinion, whatever you want to call it. But man, we never went out to buy this car and it absolutely blew us away with comfort and quietness, plus really good safety and features with a baby on the way.
Also, the telluride had a wraparound screen but this is a car, we are supposed to be driving not looking at a screen. Pathfinder platinum is also one of highest safety rankings for small children.
I just got a ‘24 Pathfinder Platinum and I love it. Ive never had an SUV/Crossover I’ve always had large full size sedans so I have nothing to compare it to as far as other SUV’s go. But it’s a very roomy and comfortable ride.
Got my wife a 2024 Pathfinder Platinum three weeks ago. Gun Metallic with Chestnut interior. Moved up from 2021 Rogue Platinum which only had 37K, but with a large trade-in and $3.5K discount, made the deal. The vehicle does nothing spectacular, but is very competent. Interior is best in class, hands down. The major criticisms were 1. Not great off road which I do not do, 2. third row is cramped- took down this row and have more storage in back, 3. Seats not comfortable- sorry, but with Platinum, find them very comfortable. They rate the Kia Telluride as better, but the vehicle is garbage in terms of long term reliability. Toyota has moved to a four cylinder, turbo hybrid with reported problems. Genesis CV 70 looks great, but gets pricey with fully loaded version and people I know that have them have told me they're having problems.
Not sure if due to supply issues, but the 2022 Platinum had them standard, but they became an option with 2023 Platinums If I remember the years correctly.
We have not taken our SC trip from FL just yet but we did a 3 hour trip yesterday for the first time and were going 80mph. At high speeds I would give it a 7.5/10. I drive GMC Sierra so I’m used to super smooth quiet rides on the highway. The Platinum was very good, but not over the moon excellence on highway. Very very faint window whistling but the handling was excellent. We took it on test drive on i95 for that exact reason and it’s much better than we used to have with the Explorer, albeit the Explorer was a 2017 Limited..
I love 2024 pathfinders has 2022 and 2023 and 2024. Again 2024 great vehicles .much more better then toyota's highlander. Toyota's suv price of metal no suspension no releyablty. I think pathfinders is much better. I was looking for 2025 hasn't comes out yet.
i see some platinums dont come with fog lights i wont buy one unless it has them cause it looks cheap without them i was thinking of trading my 23 zr2 chevy colorado for one of these

I just bought a 2024 Platinum without fog lights, but made them add them on as part of the deal 🤷 Worth a try during negotiations if you find one you love!
Anyway doing a video why can't you give a proper review. 3rd raw seat not opened, no information about second raw AC wants and so on. Try to add all the information
3rd row, my 5' 7" daughter likes sitting back there by herself. 2nd row 60/40 split bench can slide back and forth enough to to make it comfortable for both 2nd and 3rd rows. 2nd row has rear controls for a/c on the back of the center console. 2nd and 3rd row vents are up top on the left and right ceiling blowing diagonally down onto the passengers. Carted around a bunch of teenage girls the 1st week I got mine and they loved it. All 8 seats were filled.

How much is the price ?
Ben thanks for your videos, quick question between Pathfinder rock creek and VW Atlas Peak edition which one would you choose? thanks
Suggestion: Pro 4X. Option
What happened with the fog lights? This is a Platinum
The price of platinum is super low now, they would have to create Gold or Palladium version 😂
It’s a $385 add-on for LED fog lights

Yes that’s a zonk for sure, they are an add on and hard to find.
I want the one with the moon roof

does the rock creek only come with captain chairs for the 2nd row?
Yep.
Nice but I have 2nd row bucket seats and console.

It’s an extra option.
Made me dizzy with the quick POV all over the place FYI
How much does this category cost?
50k
Sequoia tundra are body on frame nothing t do with pathfinder
It’s a v-motion grill

Never seen a key fob that looks so cheap. Also that screen size is far too small IMO.
Key fob sucks. Black on black was a dumb idea.
No it isn’t. If it was there would no point of the Infiniti version.
You’re talking way too fast I literally can’t understand you .
Ben didn’t show the front passenger seat. It is horrible. I find the rest of the SUV very well built.
What is the problem with the seat?
I assume you are referring to the low seating position. That was remedied in 2023, though should have never been an issue to begin with.
The front passenger seat is actually a IKEA office chair.

Unfortunately with global manufacturing nothing is 100% made in America anymore, including GM, Ford or Ram aka Stellantis.
This car is made in America by Americans in Tennessee.
