    Here is a quick pre-set in the style of RIP. It's modeled after the song Lucretia. I did want to mention that the tone on RIP is one of the hardest tones to replicate in my opinion. I have gotten close and feel that there have been a few other youtubers who have gotten close, but I have never heard anyone ever get that close where it was super convincing. Trust me when I say that it's one of the hardest tones to replicate.

      They used multiple amps blended together. I would try a dimed Marshall JCM 800 blended with the Bogner.

      @@bigassdummy46 That's a good combo. The jcm 800 does have some qualities that the Bogner lacks.

      @@ShredHeads Hey man thanks for the preset awesome im using a v30g12 and a g12t75 however is there a way we can emulate the vht poweramp as the bog fish on the axe they used the bogner shiva poweramp. This is close thanks! Also im running the custom 5 and i cant get this mid frequency out its odd any help would be appreciated not getting that snarl!

      @@totc6196 one thing you can do is in the power section of the amp in the axe fx there is tube type. the VHT 2150 early model ran 6550 tubes. My VHT is from 1990 and it has 6550 tubes. It might help, the VHT 2150 is actually kind of scooped and dark sounding. It does have a good thump, powerful is the word I would use to describe it. 👍

      @@ShredHeads Thanks man I just have this woody sound not that awesome snarl your are getting on the high mids its too woody or something. I will try that with the 6550 also do you think it could be the custom 5 pickup it sounds weird like way too much mids and the custom 5 is a scooped pickup totally confused. Also what impedance curve did you use if you remember?

    Great video as always!
    'A thing I would really like to see, which I think is basically impossible is to recreate the lead tone from the album "Out Of This World by Europe". I've never heard or seen anyone do it, and there a lot of speculations on how it was done on the internet, because people really want to find the Kee (key). I think Marcello mentioned that it was a Marshall that had some special mod around 800

      Thanks, I’ll check that tone out. There are tones that are very hard to replicate and as fans we can really only get something similar. It’s pretty much impossible to replicate a tone 100%.

      @@ShredHeads I agree, there is so much to it, and even though it is a cliché, then a lot of it is only simply in the hands of the player . I just think that tone is quite infamous due to the very weird boost around 800hz.

      @@MathiasSteenJensen yeah a lot of people just want to think it's all about the gear or some little secret. Finger tone is huge and there is a reason I like to emphasize it's importance. Tone is subjective anyway, I feel I get close with my tones but I do get comments sometimes claiming my tones aren't even close and blah blah blah. Can't please some people.

      @@ShredHeads That's sadly the way the internet works lol! I think you do pretty brilliant on your tone recreations. My favorite is problem your Scorpions LAFS. Love that tone and Matthias Jabbs is a monster!

      @@MathiasSteenJensen that's a pretty simple solo, it's just mostly pentatonic stuff but it's incredibly well composed. The phrasing is great and it fits the song perfectly.

    Hey man just tried it on my new FM9 but it doesnt sound like you, a lot more bassy. I know they did a lot of update since then can you tell me in the amp section if you have some bright or cut actived or something else because it's sound really bassy when I try on mine.

      Just cut some low end and boost some high end. It’s important to tweak presets to your liking. Also every guitar and pick up is different, so experiment.

    Any Preamp variantions for this tone? maybe a marshall would do the job?

    • @ShredHeads
      @ShredHeads  Рік тому +1

      A Marshall nails certain aspects of the tone. You can try a Marshall but the average 800 doesn’t sound much like the record in my opinion.
