I really should do that sometime as well... It's kind of a shame how the magpulse went from the gun I'd save up ammo for in the original because of how OP it was to just a gun I use on medical then drop when I get anything better 😅 I wonder how it is with the modifications, though.. 🤔
@@El_Guapo74 Yeah, it can be pretty rough... either you use a bunch of batteries and medipatches, like you said, or just load and save your way through until you know the grove well enough to determine where you wanna go and what's worth the effort.
A great, quick route - note that this does skip over most of the cameras and the weapon upgrade station, so if you're looking to complete those achievements, you'll need to stay in the Grove a bit longer.
The upgrade station only upgrades the magpulse, and tbh I didn't think the upgrade (use energy for more powerful shots I think?) was worth losing the 2 inventory spaces as it makes the gun bigger
I actually went through Beta Grove without activating my environmental protection suit. I thought the suit’s protection was passive for some reason and only much later realized my mistake

If I remember correctly, the V2 suit can be found on the Maintenance level (LVL3), around the CPU nodes area, although I could only get there late game because you need to lower the security level to a certain percentage to open the door that leads you to the CPUs, which is only possible through back-tracking once you triggered an event late game. 😅

In the accessibility settings I have the hotbar set to "Standard", then it's just up to some trickery with the inventory management with rotating the guns in certain ways around the other stuff I hoard with me 😄You can also bind stuff to the hotbar with hovering over an item with your cursor and pressing the corresponding number you want it to be bound to, only realized in tens of hours into the game lol

make sure you have the suit turned on too - you should see bio contam go down from 50 odd I think to 10 to 20. You should see energy go down. But yes even with the suit the beta grove rinses your power and health
I can't recall which achievement you might mean, however in order to get the Turbo Boots V2 on level 4, I do believe you need to lower security to 0% so that a door in Storage 6 opens up, letting you get to a room full of loot, among which is the upgraded turbo boots.
@@lucasg0ld oh there’s an achievement for destroying all cameras. But because you detach beta I assumed they’re all getting destroyed anyway. I went in and destroyed all the cameras just to be safe. As for the boots, in storage, I got that down to zero and managed to get in the loot room, and it was just the boots I already had. I don’t think it’s attached to beta grove.
