@@PeterWierda-c6t There are treated sir, what makes you think there are not, these were supplied by a reputable poles company and it's complaint with the CCA protected from attcaks by microbes and insects Copper Chrome Arsenate (CCA) was used you looking at a picture the treatment has up to 25 percent copper and 45 percent chromium and up to 37 percent arsenic making that timber highly resistant to pests and fungi and can last to 40 years a Stellenbosch company called That Pole Place supplied these Poles and they don't sell poles that are not treated at all neither do we supply those on our structures we know the effects and we been in this business for long to understand what wood borers and termites can do to the timber Our supplier is a Stellenbosch based reputable company called That Pole Place and they don't take chances please phone number 0218813821.
