Just hung up our 75" a couple days ago. The install was straightforward with my only challenge being torn on how high to hang it. Art is meant to be displayed at standing eye level, while TVs should be much nearer to the floor. I went with kind of in between, but closer to art height and it looks great. Plus, our living room has massive windows facing west, so the matte TV screen is a game changer when it comes to reducing nasty glare. Loving it so far!
I ignore the "TVs should be much nearer to the floor" rule. I never agreed with that general advice. It doesn't make sense in a home with an open design where you watch the TV from multiple viewing distances at different times of day, and if you watch TV while lying on a couch it makes watching TV super awkward. Even when watching mine close up, I've never had neck strain as is claimed if it is higher. Part of the "TV should be low rule" has it that any slight tilt to the neck will be uncomfortable over time. People who say that apparently never tried it.
At the end of the day, it's primary a TV that's designed to be camouflaged when not in use. It's designed to be hung, not on a TV stand. No one hangs a TV close to the ground.
@@5metoo Exactly. If you lay down on the coach, and are more in a lounge position your neck is actually already in a backward position. All those advices are based on you sitting on your coach upright. Who does that?

I fully disagree calling a TV buy "an investment". There is no investment when something loses half of its value in 1-2 years. Especially with how quickly the technology advances.
@@Thinkableness what I meant is that buying a new TV during its first release months-year is a very bad financial decision unless you don’t care about being able to buy the same TV 50% lower after 6-10months and 70% after 10-16 months. The one big minus that you need to add is the one box. It's not small and the silver cable still stands out. You also can't run the TV without it. It really needs a wall box to tuck the one box away for a true clean installation. I have the 2022 55" one and love it in art mode.
