I failed before in my life. I can relate to this. I failed a test once in my Math class in high school. Sometime later, I got better at Math in high school. I went from an F to an A eventually. It's all about the mindset, failure is an opportunity to learn and grow from your mistakes. Not to give up and convince yourself it's just not meant to be. For now on, whenever I fail in life, I see failure as a teachable moment. To improve my quality of life.

I've failed more this year than in any other year. It's been hard. I've lost so much but at the same time gained so much and learnt so much about myself. I've been an emotional yo yo. Elated one minute. Rock bottom the next. But it's strangely been the best year of my life just because I have learnt so much..

As a new RN this has been helpful advice. Some days I come in and everything goes right, tasks are done on time and the patients stay the course and remain stable. The next day I come in, my patients could be the polar opposite, nothing I’m doing seems to work or be enough. You feel like maybe you picked the wrong career or specialty.. don’t quit to early. As cheesy as it sounds, the option of failure is dependant upon the circumstances, or in some cases "failure is not an option".
If it is for example an academic test or maybe a sporting venture, as painful as it may be, failure is an option.
If however you find yourself in a situation where failing would result in death, then you either succeed or you die.

Now if i want to drive in Switzerland, i will need to take theory exam and all the tests again. How amazing 😅 But i also think it will make me an even better driver in the end. I don’t know if you finally managed to pass the driver test, but I’m actually in the same boat as you. I’ve been driving for well over a year now and failed my first attempt at the driver test. I then went into a spiral of negative thoughts and anxiety. It took me a while to finally clear my head and I’m getting ready for a retest tomorrow morning. I realized the trick is, in order to succeed you have to learn from your mistakes. People failing driving tests is also a lot more common than you might think. There are people who might be older than both of us who are still trying to pass their driving test.

True, that is why it is also essential to experience failure for you to learn. For you to hone where you're lacking at so when the time comes you'll rise like a Phoenix from the ashes.

If you learn from your mistakes and look for solutions, the only factor that will affect your success is time. I have first hand experience in such a thing. Ive failed my fair share of important tests, deadlines and interviews, but as i caught my mistakes and reevaluated them, i managed to overcome them

This is irresponsible, some folks apply this to other aspects of life. When life everyday functions have very good guidelines and rules, learning the hard way sucks. Costing you money time ect. When someone that's already been down that provides you info that they had to learn the hard way. Trying to save you hard ache. It's less frown a pond if you are doing something in uncharted water or you didnt have someone to go to for info. I hear young folks saying, I'll learn it the hard way, not if your informed. Jordan failures was at a GAME a GAME. Love has some basic human treatment guidelines, but failure in love that was not effected by basic rules, then it is a learning lesson and cant be judged by others. FAILURE can be avoided in most circumstances, when your more informed. Knowing is half the battle GI JOE!

Tell that to someone who is trying to swim for their lives on a sinking ship or is liable to end up starving and freezing if they should fail to get a job of any sort or achieve academic success. Being hungry and cold is a very real reality for countless people who have no safety net whatever and exceeding in their studies or career is the difference between having food and not having it.
These pep talks with their generalizations may be beneficial to some but not all. They are for those given an infinite number of chances, and not all of us have infinite opportunities to try again. Confidence can become a trap all its own right. And persistence can cost you everything you own trying to improve your situation. I failed algebra four times and four is all I got due to the three strike rule and the additional leeway. Four is the maximum, and I don't have an infinite well of money to throw at it. Why would I be studying higher math I am inept at if I did?
