I remember in the military we had a medical test when I was a private and there was 40 of us getting tested. I’ve suffered with anxiety particularly in my early days when being tested. I smashed all the practice tests for the exam then the actual test came and I flapped and failed it twice. It was just my doubt in my mind taking control. Bad thing is out of the full 40 I was the only one who failed. I remember getting back to my unit and everyone laughing and taking the mick. I told myself I’m not going to let that get me down and because I was so embarrassed I did as much research on the subject as I could. I re applied for the exam about a year later and got the highest mark and now teach the lessons to everyone. I learned from my mistakes and everything I learn in life is from mistakes. We learn more from our failures then we do are successes.
“Don’t be addicted to money. Work to learn. don’t work for money. Work for knowledge.” - Robert Kiyosaki
This was excellent 🎉!
Thank you 👏🏾💛
Failure is not the opposite of success, it’s part of success!
I did poorly, very poorly in my last 2 exams. I have been a failure for last 4 years. It is something I needed.
You're not a failure for doing bad on an exam. Failing at one thing doesn't discount all that you've succeeded at!
Same here.
I failed for 3 year
exactly same thing happened to me! ur not alone. hope u do better next time !
Good onya Tim, Although you do have to wonder why the Australian Defence Force is so myopic .....There's been hundreds of you, who have been rejected unfairly, but have used this rejection to motivate them to do great things.....Perhaps you'd have had more success if you wore a dress, or a wig and high heels.....?

Everything else is varying degrees of success"

Good message, no new age bull, just plain speaking common sense. You cant always have exactly what you want in life. I've experienced that. You can have something else which is just as fulfilling, sometimes better.
Thank you for this. I’ve been needing to hear this these couple of days.
We should be taught how to handle failire.
95% of video, 5% theory (which is the title) is his personal story, it maybe a great story for him..but it is waste of the reader time..
I saw other's video which are deliver the message better, more insights than the speaker story
Incredible work, keep shining!
I love his story. My dream is to be a visual artist in the music industry. I don't receive any help and I am self taught in making my videos. They are not perfect because I am still learning. Not seeing my dream coming true is my big fear. I am unemployed but work hard on my goal. I truly, truly hope everything will come into place for me.
Great speaker. Very motivational

I've looked through 5 speeches at this point and nothing is similar to my failure, what a waste of time this has all been ive learnt nothing
Konaito go out there and tell your story ! I’m sure a lot of people will relate and may even learn from your unique experience etc ! :)
It doesn't have to be similar. Just learn from your failure. Think what's missing in you that you fail.
Tell your story on reddit, u will find many people who willl relate...
Preach.
Thank you!
