Danny is clearly passionate and animated about his new series, so just let him speak. It doesn't matter if you don't get what a computer game is, if a guest is being entertaining, let them; then come in with a solid follow-up question when they are winding down.
I have always thought this. I was watching him interview John Mulaney (who is literally NEVER boring to watch) and I had to turn it off because John would say something clever and Larry King just didn't give a hoot and would go onto the next question like he didn't even say anything. I have no idea why people watch Larry King.
They should change the title of this video to “Boomer try’s to understand Millennials”
You edited this and still put try's instead of tries.
@@CoalDiamondandhisawesomeness oh I see...that wasn’t what I edited, the autocorrect had changed “they should” to “the charged”...why? I have no idea, I didn’t bother to read the rest of my post, but I’ll leave it as is so that future humans reading this will understand
@@jaicarrmedia it's all good
Lol yeah
There are no boomers nor millennials in this video.
Guy was 87, people acting all high and mighty about how an 87 year old pre-boomer Silent Generation guy doesn't understand video games, as if it's amazing that they can understand something they've grown up with and understood from the beginning that was made for their demographic. I'm sure there's lots of things you won't understand particularly well when you guys are 70, 80, 90. Speaking as somebody in their 20s right now.
"I don't understand how people can get paid to play video games."
Well, I don't understand how people can get paid to play basketball, but here we are.
I love how he says markiplier it's just so unfamiliar that he just pronounces it completely wrong
To be fair, telling someone their name and not understanding internet meme culture and saying "Markiplier" would be telling that person something far different than something like Polish; as it's a language he seems to clearly understand.
Also, puns. I'm sure he didn't get the puns out of all that.
Multiplier + Mark? = Markiplier
Possibly based off a video reference?
@@Theohybrid fair point but it is still funny
“I interview a UA-cam: Markauplier” ... oof
@The Bank Robber Joker 😆
I wanna see Sean Evans interview Danny, that would be great. This was painful to watch, but somehow made me love Danny even more.
Holy respect to Danny for keeping this rolling w Larry’s whatever that was
Larry is just a confused old man trying to get a grip on today’s world lol
I hope I grow up to be like him
"Larry, I'm on Duck Tales!" Is my new favorite quote
turn on the set by turning on a knob? 4:50
I think Danny Pudi is one of the best duck to play has Huey on Ducktales Ben Schwartz as well for Dewey
Here before this blows up
9:49 , Larry’s laugh 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Larry is just using guests to know of the world rather than about themselves. Cant he use google instead of asking those questions as substitutes for an interview?? man I respect Danny for slowing down for him...
Maybe a guest should show him how to google
"Naprawdę, tak"
"abzaawende"
"Oczywiście!"
Could you translate that please? :)
@@solarsombrero227 Pudi: “Really, yes.” Larry: (What Larry said literally isn’t even Polish) Pudi: “Of course”
@@joshuachrzanowski5750 wtf😂
Larry has been under a rock since the internet was invented
How can you be someone that reports on current events without having even a basic concept of what video games are lol
I will say, he at least gives the guest a lot of time to talk. Most talk show hosts talk more than the guest does during interviews.
The last part of your comment is probably why people watch the show other than being really old
Rest in peace, King.
R.I.P. Larry. 🙏🏽
This is like me trying to have an interesting conversation with my grandparents but it’s just awkward
You fellas commenting are wrong. Larry's not being rude, he's being genuine and trying to relate as much as he can while completing the task at hand. "Talking it out." Dani doesn't think he's being rude either. Instead of saying "this makes me dislike this guy" try to understand.
This just had the vibe of Larry talking to his grand nephew trying to figure out technology
danny is so charismatic and good at conversations. this would be so painful to watch if not for him
This is so wild I'm watching his video and Larry is hospitalized in Los Angeles with COVID-19...
Danny is so streets ahead
Have yall never seen a Larry King interview? There was never any like, beef between them they were both having a good time, and Larry King is an interesting interviewer like cmon. He's not acting rudely by asking about video games, he's genuinely asking and danny is answering normally.
Larry King: “mark-eye-plier”
This vid is so me trying to have a convo with my grandparents. We try, but its just two different worlds
It’s so weird watching Pudi without him being Abed
Especially after watching in recently
"I like to jump into different characters. I like 'really specific'."
pretty sure he just IS Abed IRL lol
Really appreciate Larry. Doesn't talk as fast our favorite Mr. Puddin, but he's interviewing an impromptu actor, what're you gonna do? Still gives a nice, gradual overview of Dani's life and experiences that, while not a secret he had to grill him on was still something nice to hear him talk about.
idk why so mnay ppl are making commentts on larry's age. I didn't know who the guy was before this video, but ngl i found it interesting seeing the two connect, relate and understand each other.
Rest in peace, Larry
UA-cam star Mark eye plier
Yess, that is a totally normal way of saying that name
marc i plyer
Who pays him?
This interview feels like it was arranged solely by Larry to clear his doubts about the present world and mainstream stuff.
"I dont understand how people are getting payed to play video games"
Meanwhile he is getting payed to sit in front of a camera and ask pre written questions to other humans
It's the guy from Community!
Don't you miss a beat Larry... Keep doing great work
Well...
This is like teaching your grandparents how technology works. 🤣🤣🤣
It’s weird watching this after seeing community. Danny plays abed so well it’s like seeing Bronson pinchot not being balki.
Larry is literally textbook boomer
Larry is Silent Generation. Born 1933.
@@ellahubele7790 what are you, General Generation??
