For vintage bags with brass hardware you should use brasso.

Super helpful video! I was wondering, I usually use the BRASSO hardware polisher on the lock and keys. It usually leaves a lot of scratches onto the brass hardware. I was wondering if this product the "blue magic metal polish cream" that you used in the video, also leaves a lot of scratching on the lock? Thank you,
Hi. I think it also depend on the cloth that you use to polish the hardware. Use a soft/smooth cloth like the one used for buffing jewelries. I didn’t see any additional scratches on the hardware after I use it. 😊
New LV hardware isn’t brass. Only vintage bags are brass hardware so that’s probably why.

Hi dear. Thank you for watching. I’m being careful in applying the Blue Magic that’s why I also used Qtips. So far, it didn’t stain the LV canvas, it might on leather so take extra precaution in using it. Hope it helps. Happy Holidays 😊🎄

I’m thinking what you meant by gold coated metal is the same as gold plated? If yes, it won’t make the gold come off.

Hi. RGHW will eventually turn to Yellow gold as time goes by. It’s a normal wear of rose gold hardware.

Will it work on LV key pouch rings? I can’t tell if it’s brass
Hi. I think it will work on LV Key pouch rings. However, key holder rings are known to tarnish overtime. Gold plated hardware fades due to usage and constant contact with oil and sweat of our hands. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching 😊💕 Happy New Year!

Hi. I think it will work. Just try a tiny bit of a small area of the bracelet. I don’t think it will remove the scratch but I think it will help make it shinier. Again, do a test on a small area of the bracelet and see how it turns out. Hope it helps.

Hi Dear, you can try using this cleaning cream, the brand I used is in the description. I’m pretty sure it will help out somehow, you can use it a couple of times to see better result.

Hi Dear, I haven’t tried it yet with Gucci Marmont. If you want to try, I suggests put a small amount of the cleaner in a Qtip, apply in one small spot, probably in the inner buckle of the bag first, buff it after and see if it will work good on that. But pls proceed with caution though. Let me know if it works 😊

If we dont have paper towel what can w use insteed?
Hi. A soft cloth or the any cloth that won’t be too rough to rub on the metal surface.
What if it gets on the vachetta?
Hi dear. I haven’t tried this on a bag with a vachetta yet but if you will just take your time and be very careful in applying the cream to the hardware (close to the vachetta) I think you will be fine. Use Q tip to make the application more precise along the crevices.
Is it dangerous if you get some of the product onto the fabric or leather part of the handbag? I'm asking but no worried if you don't know! Maybe someone else in the comments will :)
Hi! Good question, dear! It actually happened as I was doing it in this video. What I did was I took a small brush (old toothbrush will do, too) and I just brushed the fabric where the zipper is with a little bit of water and dish soap and it went away. It doesn’t harm the canvas itself provided that the product won’t be used primarily on the canvass. Just wipe it off right away if you saw some product got in contact with the canvas. @@anneangel.4u I think the best way to protect the leather while cleaning the hardware is to put a tape around the hardware before cleaning/polishing them. That way, the leather of your bag will be protected from the polishing cream or any chemical you are using. I hope it helps. 😉

Hi Dear. I haven’t tried this on my bracelet, like Pandora or Tiffany. Is use warm water and dish soap for those kinds of metals. And let it air dry after.
