BUYING GUCCI SECOND HAND FROM JAPAN!!!
• BUYING SECOND HAND LUX...
I bought cheap second hand luxury bags using the buying proxy service "From Japan"!! • BUYING SECOND HAND LUX...
It's finally here!!!! My tips on shopping for luxury items in Japan!!! I filmed this video back in JANUARY and I kept putting off posting it because I was thinking "i'll post it in a few months when people can travel again" but..... I don't see that happening any time soon, so I may as well just post this now!
If you happen to be in Japan, or you're planning a trip there for some time next year, here are my top locations that I recommend you visit while trying to find luxury handbags second hand at reasonable prices. Also keep in mind that you can always search the word "brand" in Japanese on Google Maps and it will help you find any second hand stores selling luxury brands! Just copy this: ブランド

Next time you go to Japan…can I come 🙏🏽🥰
Please I need someone who can supply me
Can u please send me a one bag🙏
Do people buy these bags from there and resell them in Australia?
Can you please post their ebay store or email that I could reach the store in Atlantis.
its one of the benefit to live in Japan 😀 also lots people got those bags as presents from their ex after broke up they dont want to see those bags so they sold them ,thats why they are so new.
If I got an expensive gift from an ex i would for sure keep it XD
Also , special in Shinjuku there’s lots of girls bar (or boys ) they got present from guest and they prefer cash so they will sold them there
@@marianaprado2856 if I got that as a gift I will keep too XD
How much money do those people have?
@@marianaprado2856 I think she said the person who sold it gets money when it gets sold so they got the value out of it.
I was going to say that a man was following Alex and I was really freaked out. Turns out to be her dad lol
I was thinking the same thing lol 😂 I was like, "He followed her all day since the train station 😮"
I had the exact same reaction until she started talking to him 2/3rd in lol. Totally forgot that he came along with her for her gluten free food vlogs.
Lmao 😂
Thank you- I seriously thought the same thing and wondered if anyone saw too!! Alex babe- we got your back!! Lol happy your dad was with you🥰
Ps samesies that im not a fan of super expensive things, but a total joy to watch you find bargains!
Was it really?! I thought the same thing!! lol It was creeping me out and I kept my eye oh him hahaha.
me incredibly broke watching this video like "ah yes this was good deals"
Me: “that’s only 2000 USD, get itttt”
Also me: *card not present transaction $3.50~card declined*

Luxury goods are fashion, fakes are also fashion but cheaper. I like fashion, and I like cheaper, so I chose *suluxs* .
the *esluxscom* would be super cute during the fall with a nude or tan or even tonal outfit! i’m thinking a tan wool coat with that bag!!
You know my grandmother gave me a fake *esluxscom* bag because she knew I like pretty things and she thought it was pretty too. I was 22 years old at that time. I really don't care. People thought it was true. When she died 4 years ago. To me, that bag is worth more than any of my bags and jewelry combined. Ignore them. this is precious to you.
I found my favourite Gucci bag in the backstreets of Harajuku! less than 50 usd because it was pretty dirty, but I just cleaned it and it is so beautiful!
Why is it so cheap in Japan
@@bujub5542 I think theyre luxury market isnt such a big deal because they have regular brands that are just as good or even better
Was it leather or fabric and how did you clean it?
Do you remember what the shop was called or how it looked like?

Yeah it's so weird to see people without masks now

How much extra japan stock footage you holding onto girl?!
I think she had it because she knew she wouldn't be filming while recovering from her surgery. At least that's my guess
I personally think she has this much left because out of respect she didn't post anything at the start of the year when the Australian wild fires were going on and then that Japan footage was already kind of old.
That's my guess at least.
I was trying to get an estimate of how many more japan videos we have coming hehe
@@MissMints she said she had a lot of prefilmed japan videos, so I expect many more 💕
I have DAYS of footage hahahaha
I have two urges now. 1. To go to Japan and 2. Buy a second hand luxury bag
haha yup

My roommate used to buy bags off *suluxs* . I think she ended up spending almost the price of the bag she wanted . They were real leather .
I from *suluxs* bought a Birkin and I went into Louis Vuitton at South Coast Plaza with a friend who wanted to buy a card case and we received great customer service. They offered us water..LOL I would never buy authentic knowing that are just as good.
From the packaging to the details of the bags, I think the *suluxs* shop has made reproduction an art form.
Yes. I Have been purchasing second hand designer bags in Japan for many years now. I’d suggest to go to more suburban/rural areas near Tokyo to find bags in better condition and still reasonably priced.
How do you get them authenticated?
May I know the name of some stores?
Any specific store recs?
I'm surprised how often I act like a rich person, my money is in *preluxscom* buying some fancy bags that are more than he's worth
New friend here sending may full suppor *esluxscom*
I will admit, I really have never yearned for a designer bag that new costs thousands of dollars but, if I were I would go to Japan to get one used. So much more affordable
Right even if I had the money for luxury, something about getting it for cheaper just makes it even more exciting!
Plus it’s good for the environment
Hey j Thompson, its me j Thompson 😂
I'm happy with a knockoff from our local flea market! 😂
The rich buy consignment all the time
With LV goods you also have to remember that the market in Japan is saturated. LV does 70% of their sales in Japan, so there is a LOT of LV here.

I hadn’t intended to devote 40 minutes to watching a video on purchasing luxury handbags, but I’m so glad I did! I feel like you took me on a little trip to Japan. Thank you so much! I loved the super places you brought me to, not to mention all the info you shared about so many gorgeous luxury brands. And I, for one, truly appreciated your ending your video at that delicious sushi restaurant! I was feeling a bit peckish myself. Arigato.

But it’s Alex, so I’m watching and loving her 😂
The only reason I would buy a bag so expensive is to resell it at the higher price. Do not relly see another point to do that.

Oh man... my big secret is out! Been going to Japan annually for the past few years just to get good designer bargains.
I would never neverrrr everrrr in my whole intire life try to visit those shops because I want every single bag🥲🙂
Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym *esluxs*
I'm convinced Shinjuku station is actually Limbo. The first time I went there it took almost AN HOUR to find a way out. That place somehow bends the fabric of time and space

I bought some authentic vintage and not so vintage Gucci, and LV bags/wallets from Japanese stores about 4 yrs.ago. My LV speedy30 ($275) had water stains on the handles and trimming which were easily removed gently using a magic sponge and metal polish to remove the black stains on the oxidized zippers, and other hardware. For the minor scuffs on the leather, I used a matching leather shoe polish to restore the color. My Gucci black canvas was faded to grey (I paid $225), so I dyed it using a $7 bottle of black fabric ink and a paint brush to make it look brand new. I condition all my leather bags once a year using a high quality leather conditioner and store them in black satin pillow cases. So easy, so worth it! 🥰
You look so comfy .Also, I really loved your older video guide to shopping in NYC - it'd be great if you continued that series for other places.for example, I'm on the outskirts of London but I'm new to *esluxscom* shopping so I don't know where I'm going and for what things I am shopping in my own city.

Girl, you have hella willpower! I would have spent all of my money at the first couple of shops 😂 When I saw you pull out the Jeune Fille for $250 I literally screamed because I’m looking for one right now on eBay! If I found one for $250 I would be ecstatic!
I’m an avid thrifter. I love older bags and bargain prices. So thank you for making this video. It is mine and my husbands dream to visit Japan one day (curse you pandemic...), and now I know where to thrift and look at possibly getting an authentic vintage bag. Until then I will live vicariously through these UA-cam vids. Thank you so much for your efforts in these videos. Hope you’re doing well.
*esluxscom* 1:1 con imagen reflejada, resistente y resistente al desgaste. Me gusta mucho.
I don't understand why we can't get a knockoff *condup* . No one is going to walk up to you on the street and check your bag to see if it's genuine.
The thing I don't understand about designer brands.... why sell an item that's so cheap to make then once it's got a logo on it it suddenly adds 3000% to the price....
"Exclusivity."
People love the association, they love to simultaneously fit in and stand out.
it really depends on the brand.
brands that use logo's or designs that are copy protected tend to higher quality material which isn't cheap. They also have an exclusivity mindset to use that higher material and logo.
brands like Luis Vitton, Gucci, and the such are such brands. if they find that their items are damaged they will not sell them as new items even if it's a tiny scuff they send them to a section in their company that sells them to second-hand places that will base pricing off of original tags but take into account damages that happened to their material.
all higher-end or luxury companies do practices like this. They have the mindset that their exclusivity items will not sell to their regular customers who spend thousands on their products. It's easier for them to just sell them off in bulk to second-hand locations and focus on the best they produce.
if you want new "damaged" items look for whole-sale or reputable re-sellers who work either directly or have a middle man that buys directly from the manufacture. You will save tons of money and get awesome products that could still have a full warranty.
Capitalism. My original nikes lasted 1 year while other brand I dont even remember the name of lasted 3 years, same design, they look almost the same with simmilar materials. Buying expensive stuff is for dumb people with money who want to separate themselves from poor people. Independent designers work on real art and these brands steal from them and sell the designs globally, it has nothing to do with quality.
It depends from the brand but I can assure you, not all of them are cheaply made
This isn't always the case, but majority of high end brands like LV, Chanel, etc. are high quality. My mom has a Chanel purse that she's had for over 10 years that still looks brand new. These high end brands are selling you a lifelong item instead of an item that'll last you a couple years max. A lot of these high end brands also have very timeless styles. The styles of LV bags that are popular and trendy now (Speedy, Neverfull, etc.) were popular and trendy decades ago and will be popular and trendy decades from now.
You are the sweetest with all your added map directions! 💕 Never wanted to go to Tokyo before but now it is top priority!
Living below the poverty line my entire life, I can't imagine ever buying a bag that could house me for 6months
Japan in general takes such incredible care of their items and I’m very impressed with the condition of the secondhand items

Ive bought two vintage dior necklaces in Tokyo for about 60 EUR in mint condition. In europe they would've cost 400 EUR easily.
When you showed that transparent iridescent backpack, my inner magpie screamed because you didn't buy it. It's soooooo pretty.

Am i the only person, that thinks that famous brands are waaaaaay to pricey but still would buy one? 😂😂
Because rich ppl doesn't know where to spend money, that's why 🤔💵💸
Just buying a name. Nothing that important at 3,000.00 it will wear out just like anything else.
I love the moderate price bags, such as Coach, Michael Kors, or Rebecca Minkoff!
Oh my gosh I could never justify spending 2,500 on a bag!😬 that’s just me though.
Peace and LOVE me too. I hate goods with big brands on them. Most of the time, I prefer local goods or hand made good with no brand printed or attached on them.
Such GREAT comparisons! Allllll soooo lovely! Especially the *yutulu* tote. Their styles are so chic, sleek, elegant and understated! 😍
OMG this was so interesting and so much fun to watch 🤩 Loved it and now I want to go to pre-loved shopping in Tokyo! 🛍️
When my grandma died, I got her bags, they are expensive bags, sometimes I see them and think, I would give all the bags in the world to have her back
Same here plus her grandma's art deco style jewelry I went into one of these stores in Japan 4years ago carrying one of her bags and the staff were round me like flies then manager came to see what fuss was over, he gasped at the bag stroking it like it was his first born son begging me to consider selling at monopoly money levels. Then because it was getting rather warm in store I undid my jacket when he saw necklace he gasped turns out necklace was a one off piece designed by a particular well known French artist for a design competition he commented on fact it had matching earrings I said yes but a bit too big for my taste though I do sometimes wear bracelet and watch. He almost passed out. When I got home I did some research and was terrified to discover the actual price of necklace but when I tried to discover what the full set was worth I was redirected to an auction house. No I never sold them but if I ever want to retire to a tropical island I've got it covered.
Turns out my nannas grandmother was a very famous artists model and most of the jewelry is one off designs by world class artists of the times. None quite as expensive as the set but majority in 5-6 fingers per piece. I have no daughter's to pass them on to and as I know my daughter in law thinks she will inherit all nanna left and plans to sell I'm not leaving her a single piece instead I'm donating to various charities( one the items concerned are sold charities get cash) and majority to a museum I have spent a great deal of time in through the years.
So ladies have any art deco pieces you have valued. I had a strange lilac coloured stone in a choker necklace with what I thought was paste stones set in silver. Turned out it had been made by a Russian jeweller known for eggs the main stone was rare natural coloured diamond, the stones ( four rows the depth of the lilac flower design) were diamonds and setting was platinum. This paid for our rather nice home cars sons university husband's passion an item I'm not listing and enough to invest to keep us comfortably for life. In fact one of the Duchess of York's items was in same auction expected to be top selling item but this piece of jewellery I'd worn daily for years went to triple the Prince so get all art deco checked. And no I did not come from a rich background my nanna and mum thought these items were all costume jewellery as did I till that trip to Japan had me search
Plz give one to me😊

"I love a good *esluxs* because it helps me decide if I want to buy the real thing or NOT." That part right there. That's IT. One thing to keep in mind is that you may have to declare high value items to Customs when you return home. You are allowed to buy and bring $900 AUD worth of stuff for personal use with you to Australia from abroad and not pay duty on it.
question: since it's used, why so you have to declare it? can you just not have traveled with your bag and came back home with your bag?

I LOVE this video and watched it several times! Keep doing these videos and thank you for sharing your love of luxury handbags with us from Japan!
The younger generation is somewhat obsessed with luxury goods because it makes them feel valuable. Imitation Chanel bags sell for about $200 on *condup* , and they complain about the price increase of genuine products, but they lose a lot of money because of the genuine products.
Great video. I’m new to your channel and I love your vibe. And, I can’t tell the difference in the two Bottega bags and the *esluxs* is close enough and it’s cute so that’s good enough for me.
Guuuurl! I saw the Chanel backpack and jumped when you mentioned their EBay. 😍 Thank you!!!
I found a Louis Ellipse bag at my local Goodwill for $20 US. Thought it had to be a fake but when I asked for it out if the case, it was real. Pens exploded in the bag so the inside lining was badly stained, I didnt care it isnt like anyone else will know what the inside looks like. Cleaned as best as possible so i dont have to worry about pen rubbing off on the things inside my bag.
Try rubbing alcohol to dissolve the ballpoint pen ink! Also dissolves sharpie marker!

So I was literally yelling at the screen buy the purple Chanel! The you said the price....I buy $50 bag and it's a 4 day research mission and 3 hour store dilemma that I sometimes walk away from. But man do I love a good bag.
Love to hear more about zen market!
Alex I absolutely love all your videos, you are always well-informed and have such detailed explanations. I love how much effort you put into each and every video and I can tell how passionate you are during these videos.
No matter if it's the *esluxscom* or any other, my steadfast belief stands that only practitioners can perceive dissimilarities in the sack's looks or the metal constituents.
Wow such a well done video so satisfying details the way you went around the shops I wanna go Japan now. Love your hardwork you put into.🖤🖤🖤🖤
I also used to live in Saitama, and the local second hand shops had some insane luxury items!
The audio in the background singing "just do it" as you grabbed the purple Channel bag killed me.
I’m so excited for this! So excited to one day go to Japan and shop vintage luxury 🥰 thank you for sharing your journeys
Love thiss..every summer I pull out my little black *esluxscom* clutch and this summer I'm coming out with new heels so that will be my summer wear
I love thrifting and finding good deals even though I don’t really care that much about luxury brands I’m glad that there are places that are thrifting them and giving people a chance to have them and save money and the environment.
Exactly the video that I’ve been looking for. Very informative. Thank you so much ❤️
Giiiiirllllllll this is the video I never knew I needed!!! THANK YOU!!! ❤
I loved watching this. Even though I'm not a luxury accessories fanatic, I'm probably never going to Japan but damn I love watching your shopping vids 🥰
I'm a New Yorker. When you left the station it reminded me of West 42nd Street during rush hour
I will definitely rewatch this video before planning a trip to Japan in the future! Thanks a lot for this video!
I honestly thought you were being followed at some point, but after realising you were out with someone that makes much more sense 😂
It's lunchtime in Texas, so this video has been uploaded at the perfect time!
I appreciate your effort! Thank you! Your’e so informative. Love you girl ❤️
I really love hand bags, especially the ones that are cat themed or anime ones.
I loved this video! Theres something so inspiring about watching you navigate japan and seeing how genuine you are while doing so. I look forward to the somewhat near chapter of my life where i can do the same!
A Zenmarket video would be amazing Alex 😌
Thank you so much!!!! Feel like I’ve been to japan through your eyes! I’d love to see more of these types of videos if possible
I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *esluxscom* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me
Thank you for sharing❤️
I love it and gives me an idea where to go shopping in 🇯🇵 Japan.
Never felt so poor in my life 😂 "2000$? That's a good price!"
...
Gurl I can't even spend 200$ on a bag
YoshiAndTheTardis $ 50.00 US. Tops
Her is Australian dollar
Honestly, Im only willing to pay $100 and that's good quality. The bags are pretty but really, it does the same as a $10 bag. It's only a status symbol really.
@@maylynbayani Quality is there, I can attest.
Facts. I bought a $220 bag on sale for $60 and now I’m starting to second guess it. But after seeing this video, I see that my bag wasn’t expensive at all 😂😂 feeling broke af with this video
I don't care for luxury brands but this was such a nice video to watch!!
Thanks for such a detailed shopping video! I now at least have an idea if I go visit Japan! You have immense patience!!
Saving for future reference! Been to Japan twice but never been to Tokyo. Thank you so much for this! ❤️❤️
