Great video. I recently purchased a 2024 Silverado 2500 LT and like you said, it was astonishing how bad the factory headlights are at night. I just installed the lasfit headlight bulbs and it is unbelievable how bright they are. I also installed the lasfit reverse lights and highly recommend those as well! Especially for trying to hook up to trailers in the dark.
Thanks for the video. I just ordered mine for my 2021 2500hd custom. I'm really looking forward to being able to see at night.👍
Excellent video, picking my truck up today. This will be in my future .
I installed Hikari LED bulb in van about 2 years ago for the same reason you stated. It worked great...for about 6 months. one was fine, the other was very dim. I took it out and the connectors were corroded even though they came with nice looking rubber seals. I asked a friend that was a FORD tech at a Ford dealership about dielectric grease. He said they use it on all electrical connections they install. He said just squeeze it in there. I also asked a electrical engineer I know. He said the same. I bought a new set of lights, filled up the connector with the dielectric grease. Tested it, worked great! Almost two years now and they are still working great. My two cents.
I totally agree!
6 months later, how are they holding up?
Wow very nice
Thank you! Cheers!
I'm from Western PA also with the same truck in summit white. I was trying to figure out where in Western PA you're located by scenes from the video. lol. Great video, you gained a subscriber.
Thank you! I’m just north of Pittsburgh
Awesome video have you seen the mod where you can have the highbeams on and the fog lights at the same time
im not a truck person but damn thats a nice truck. but yes LEDs should be standard for the price that we are paying at purchase the technology has been out for years unfortunately as consomers we need a damn vehicle.
I have a 23 lt and it has led
I have these in my 24 silverado hd and have already had problems with a led element flickering. Id return them asap
I’ve been running them for about a month now and haven’t had any issue
They’re on preorder. Anyone have a clue when they’ll be ready?
Great video but question I have a 2024 2500 that didn’t come with fog light but it dose have the plastic would like to put fog light you have part number or harness ? And fog light
That would be a GM thing. I don’t have that of hand. Sorry
I got the sealight ones for Christmas, but I can't swing $400 for each high and low beams, but dang good lights?
Has anybody lifted their truck? How do they look? Are you constantly getting flashed?
Im curious if you saw flickering in the stock headlights before you switched to the LED? Im seeing it now with the stock headlights on dry pavement. I know Im not seeing things because my sons and wife see it also.
I never took the time to notice actually. I changed the headlights the day after I bought it because I hated them so much
I have same truck what size do i get them
Great video! I almost went with the same cheaper bulbs you replaced. I'm glad I saw your video before buying them. Have you had to readjust your headlights at all now that they're so bright so oncoming traffic aren't blinded?
I didn’t see a need to
@@dansproshop Thanks
Do you know how to adjust them? I been getting high beams lately
@@nathan_found_it_interestingThey almost always need adjusted after installing led's. There is a UA-cam video on how to do it. It's pretty simple.
I have not got these yet. but did have leds installed by local business, still not cheap they were 200 for all 4 lights. They do work good untill the steering wheel and seat heaters are on then they flicker when driving. so my question is do these do the same thing with when those are on in your truck as you do not mention that.
My truck has both heated wheel and seats. I have not noticed any issues. Didn’t even think to mention that. Great question!
I’m looking at a custom I’m wondering if you could add aftermarket LED fog lights
I don’t see why not?
Do these lights interfere with the auto high beams working and is there any buzzing coming through the radio after the installation. I tried calling Lasfit and they told me they had no lights for 2024 therefore would not answer my tech questions. Thanks ahead for any help with these questions.
Auto high low switch function still works fine. And no, they do not interfere with the radio at all. I’ve been running these lights for months now and absolutely love them!
Dear dan.
If those are regular Bulbs Doing that, I would DEMAND they fix it. OR that you will get someone to Diagnose it, and FIX it and you will Charge the Corp for the service.
It really looks like a Voltage spike, short. DOES IT DO IT with the engine Off??
It would be funny, on the original, That they Connected from the Main lights, to the High beams, and its a Loose connection.
How long did you have to fight with the high beam dust covers. I've been trying for over an hour and can't get either one to seat in. I appear to be maybe 1/8" shy of being able to get them lined up. Is there anything else I can try? Would adjusting the headlight one way or the other offer any assistance?
I started with putting the boot on the difficult side first and kind of rotating the cover on so it kinda slips into place. It was difficult, but I promise it can be done
@@dansproshop After seeing that the hard plastic part of the cover was up against the sheet metal so it couldn't be maneuvered anymore to get the rubber portion seated, I gave up trying to force it on and decided I would try a different approach. I got the dust cover as close as I could and then put a spot of epoxy in two spots to hold the cover in place. Then I wrapped butyl tape all around the cover to seal up any gaps and followed that up by putting two strips of gorilla tape over as extra precaution. It doesn't look pretty but it's hidden with the fender liner in place and it's secure. Since it's only purpose is to keep dust and water out, I think I've accomplished that without compromising the fan's purpose that's in the dust cover.
I'm looking for the brightest of all because I want to blind back, something that surpasses the Teslas by at least 200%, 2002 GM pick-up truck let me know, thanks..
Did you adjust the headlights after the Lasfit install? I've seen a lot of claims from people who've done this upgrade say they get flashed a lot by other drivers before making the adjustment.
I personally did not. Everything seems to be fine
What is the advantage of getting the pro setup vs just buying the H11 bulbs?
Yes good question, was wondering same.
Did you watch the video? It’s a headlight bucket rear cover upgrade that fits these bulbs with their integrated fans.
Are they DOT approved?
Are these the 60 or 90w? Saw there’s 2 options and torn between the 2
You always wanna go for MORE POWER!!
Promoting bulbs when your just installing? Need a good test for a $400 set of bulbs...
Sorry to ask another question but did you install these in a vertical position or a horizontal position?
Vertical. That’s the way the light is intended to work with the refraction surfaces in the housing
@@dansproshop Thank you and Happy Holidays! I bought the 4 bulb and 4 dust cover Pro-DC Series. They should arrive December 26th. Your video has been extremely informative!
Awesome!! I hope you love them like I do!!
Are your foglights oem cause I need some on my custom....
Yes. They are factory
What was the cheap-O brand you tried originally ?
I don’t wanna call anyone out by name, but it’s the most obvious ones on amazon. They are everywhere.. almost as if there is a “sea of lights” to choose from….
@@dansproshop got it ! One other question I have : have you noticed any noise from those cooling fans ? And if one eventually fails, I'd hope the light going out would be the only problem/damage ?
@@josephvoytus3694 yes you can hear the fans. But not from inside the cab. Only if you’re standing next to them. And as far as failure. They offer a pretty awesome warranty, so I wouldn’t sweat that to much. If you by a halogen bulb from autozone are there gunna cover it if it dies in 18 months?
@@dansproshop valid point. Thank you for the quick response & a great video ! Have a healthy & happy New Year !
@@josephvoytus3694 absolutely! Happy New year!!
That price is to much
Awesome video have you seen the mod where you can have the highbeams on and the fog lights at the same time
That would be fantastic!
I have same truck what size do i get them
