I started watching the live AmyJo feed when you guys were stuck at Wigan locks and I must admit, it’s been a treat to watch three alternative ways to enjoy your trip into and out of Liverpool, I’ll never be able to own a boat, so I’m living my best canal owning life through yours and Steve and Chris’s eyes and vlogs, thank you for the entertainment and merry Christmas and happy new year, more adventures to come.
Aww thank you for your lovely comments. It's been a pleasure to create these videos and so glad to read that people enjoy them. Have a great Christmas ❤️🌲 Morr travels in 2025!!
I love Little Smudge at your side hatch and Steve in the background. Thank you for the great vlog. I’m glad you had a wonderful time. Wishing you good holidays and a happy healthy new year
He has to come and see us every time he goes for a walk and won't leave until we've said hello, made a fuss and of course given him a GB 😁 Have a lovely Christmas. ❤️❤️
Olá do Brasil! Obrigada! ❤️ Um feliz Natal para vocês! Deus abençoe! 🫶🏻
Another awesome vlog! Love the drone footage! So happy you are traveling with AmyJo (Steve, Chris and Smudge). It’s good to be with friends. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
Thanks for another lovely video. BTW this user is quite happy the watch the same scenery twice in different directions so if you ever need filler material just go ahead and use it. Cheers!
Dear Jan and Tony, I want to thank you for all the lovely vlogs you posted during this year. So many interesting and educating facts. All the work you put into editing is much appreciated ❤. I wish you a Merry Christmas 🎄and all the best for 2025 🎉.
Aww thank you so much Gabriele. It's been a pleasure to craft these vlogs for people like yourself to enjoy. Have a lovely, peaceful Christmas and happy New Year ❤️❤️
I live near Leigh. the Flashes were formed from subsidence from the many coal mine workings around there. As you approach Plank Lane bridge you will see the original bridge dumped in field on the left. Have a walk around Pennington Flash it is beautiful.
Cheers Phil 👍 Yes, we walked down to the cafe, such a lovely spot ❤️ Didn't see the old Plank Lane bridge, we were more concerned about getting through it...time was against us unfortunately. But love the interesting fact. 👍
Good to see you folks. Liverpool. Only have read about it. The buildings looked absolutely gorgeous. Merry Christmas folks. Have a Happy New year. Stay safe and warm and let's all hope 2025 will be a good year for ALL of us.
We loved Liverpool Sandi, so much to do and see. Could easily have spent another week there! Have a great Christmas yourself and look forward to reading your comments in 2025 ❤️❤️
It was my pleasure to chat with you today Jan, I hope you had a successful bus expedition and returned back to the boat with your mission completed, atleast you didn't need a passport. Watched and subscribed - Gary

Happy Christmas to you from the USA. I love hearing about the history of the areas you travel through. The architecture is so interesting. The very last building in the vlog was lovely and would enjoy knowing what that style is called.
Thank you so much for watching and supporting us 👍 The building is The Packet House at Worsley and dates from 1760. It will feature in our next vlog, the first of 2025. Have a great Christmas. ❤️❤️

Connabation! New word learned. And now everytime I hear a narrowboater talk about Scotsmans Flash, I shall giggle like a public school girl. That tijine [sp?] Sounds yum. I love my thermal cooker. Recipe available????
Tagine (Tajine) it's also the name of the dish it's usually cooked in. Looks like a dome. I'll get Jan to dig out the recipe...or we may even film it! Thank you so much for your support Karen. Have a lovely Christmas ❤️

Hi Kelly. We're Jan and Tony, and if you look at some of our earlier vlogs after we moved onboard there are a couple where we did some cooking during lock down. One of them here > ua-cam.com/video/XssBSdYIZJM/v-deo.html Give our love to Norfolk. It's where we used to live!
We've been boating enough years to know it's not a real word Jane, but it's in our lexicon of boaty words that we use as a fun saying. Have a lovely Christmas.

Did you get home to the WIRRAL? I was hoping..... been living here in New Zealand for 28years now..... so miss WIRRAL. ❤
Hi Karen. Yes Jan was able to take a bus ride to see her old home and neighbours who are still there! Very emotional ❤️

We saw Helen and Tony's boat in a marina on the Leeds and Liverpool canal, but they don't live on their boat so we never met them sadly.
There is no such word as "demoor.' Been through this with another narrow boater causing quite an uproar.
We've been boating enough years to know it's not a real word Jane, but it's in our lexicon of boaty words that we use as a fun saying.
