In order to keep your knives in perfect working order, regular maintenance and adjustments need to be made...but maybe you don't have the tools...or the understanding of how to approach it? Sometimes maybe it's not exactly clear why your knife doesn't function as you expect, but you're not sure what to do? I have been daily carrying my Swordfish for months now man I love that blade. Luckily I have had zero issues with mine and it is used for almost everything.

What is that knife sharpener/strop? It looks so easy to use!

I basically only use the Work Sharp Field Sharpener... and I also almost never use diamond stone. Simply leather strops and ceramic rods. I figure never remove metal from my blades if I don't need to.

I have this exact same knife, I just bought it. I have no idea why but using the flipper tab is INCREDIBLY difficult for me, I can only open it a few times before my finger is red and Its too sore to even open it again, I have even tried other techniques to use the thicker part of my index finger to open it and Its still very stiff, the action moves like butter but the initial unlocking is very hard, any break in-tips or is this something I should return?

I am new frame lock owner and had the same issue with my Bestech Wibra. I am not sure if this applies to you. But for me, I had to remember to not press on the lock when deploying the knife as it creates more tension on the blade. I also had to press my finger on the frame and run my finger against the frame as if the flapper is in the way rather than push directly on the flapper.

He used trailer bearing lube. I like the way he was thinking, but it don’t work that way.

Sp you are a rep for Bestech? I have a question. Why does Bestech come with terrible edges from the factory? I have twenty dollar knives that were sharpened way better at the factory than the two one hundred dollar Bestechs that I have received.

Which models specifically do you have concerns with? I have found a few with slightly thick edges that don't feel as sharp, but generally the Bestech's have been pretty good on the grind angles and sharpeness. Not perfect...but very suitable.

Knife center exclusive swordfish. I returned my first one because of late lock up. It had one of the worst edges I have ever seen. Its replacement, although better, the edge is still not up to par with even my most budget of blades. I really like the knife though and fortunately I sharpen my own knives. But a knife should come sharp from the factory.
