The EDC27 is one of my favourite torches, I just got the 25 after much anticipation & can't wait to start using it. FYI, the proximity sensor is similar to the Olight Warrior Mini 3, it only activates if something is blocking the light when you turn it on, then goes back to full brightness when the obstruction is clear.

The only 'flat' flashlight that works for me 100%, both as an EDC and a tactical CCW EDC is the SureFire Stiletto Pro. Yes, it is expensive, but buying 3-4 lesser lights to find the right one costs just as much.

I own 25 & 27 and two of each. Perfect EDC flashlights and more. Just not built for you as it looks😆🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
