I admire you so much! This has been very helpful! I don’t have any children in high school yet, so I haven’t worried too much about record keeping. This was very eye opening! Thank you!
TheNhanvey I don’t think it’s necessary unless your state or college choices require it. If you had a book list, you could easily recreate a “scope and sequence” if you didn’t have it and found it was required. We already have so much to keep up with, I wouldn’t add that to my list.
Funny story, a friend of mine recently had to come up with a high school diploma for her thirty- something year old homeschool graduate, even though her child also has a college degree! So those records may be needed for quite a while!
Thank you first year homeschooling mom here. Very helpful

Oh dear, I've only kept annual testing, attendance, and a few samples of work. I have to begin keeping more this year.
This was well thought out. Very good.
This was helpful!!!! Thank you for sharing !
Would you recommend keeping a scope and sequence along with these other records?

Edible Abundance Homestead Thanks for sharing. It’s good to know the possibility exists.
Wow! I messed record keeping up lol 😆
It is different for everyone. Most states aren't allowed to even ask for all that info. But for students who plan for college it's a good idea.
