- I had a client who wanted a nice outdoor access hole panel cover for his house. This wasn't a difficult build by any means but was a nice change of pace. I think the end result was a nice improvement to the outside of the house.

If I did this, it’d be out of aluminum with a handle at the top near the house with rounded corners but going aluminum would be a bit more expensive although quite lighter.
What gauge was the sheet metal you used?
Do you do your own powder coating?

Nothing wrong with over spec...I do it all the time but they don't break.
