I made this for Thanksgiving. oy, talk about a big hit. I made an herb dipping oil to accompany it. Everyone could not stop talking about how delicious it was. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks! I never knew the UK had a tear and share bread but I googled "tear and share bread" and so many delicious variations came up I want to try other ones now :)
When you pulled off the foil and the cheese was all melty and lovely I couldn't help but think: THAT'S THE MONEY SHOT. I've always had sweet monkey bread, so I cannot WAIT to try this kind! :D
Oh, thank you so much for your recipe, I find you searching a monkey bread without sugar, this bread is perfect for my family, thank you, thank you!!!!!!
im not really that much into baking, but that does look very tempting and delicious and i do believe a great side is the ultimate to a perfect meal .. thanks!
I've never had a savory monkey bread before, but that looks so good. I'm making that the next time I have people over though for sure. I think I'll put a ramekin of marinara sauce in the center for dipping. Another really great one Julie. Thanks for the idea. :)
If you have a bread machine, make bread dough in the machine, then cut it up and roll it into little balls. Then dunk it in the garlic/butter/oregano mixture and then put it in the bundt pan as shown in this video. It doesn't go hard like if you use biscuits like this video shows. You can warm it up the next day either as a whole or just rip off a few sections and put it in the microwave. Works great that way!
Chef Julie, once again my mouth is watering over hea!!!!! I love this and I too love using Pilbury dough to bake with. :) I'd love for you to make the cinnamon and cream cheese video(hint, hint pleeeezzzzz). Love your videos and can't wait to see more. I hope you have some Easter or Sunday dinner videos coming soon. I'd love to see some bbq ideas especially side dishes Puerto Rican and Creole too. :) Love ya!!!!
I think i would put it back into the oven without the foil for a couple of minutes, so that the top gets a bit crispy. But this looks really delicious!
lol, do you really think im gonna share this stuff? its too gorgous to share! you, are one amazing cook and your tutorials, im just addicted to them. thank you very much for inboxing me ;)
How do you make the cinnamon and cream cheese one. I already made this one and it was really good, I made one mistake though,, I forgot to cover it with foil while cooking it, The cheese browned a little but it was still really really good. Now I just want to know how to make the other one.
I'm really going to give this a try. I love making sweets, my husband doesn't like to eat them as much. This is just perfect. But I'm going to have to make the biscuits from scratch, cause we don't have that in my country.
I made these last night using 2 x 8 biscuit cans. It was very good but took 1 hour 15 min to bake, after 45 minutes the biscuits were still wet and gooey! I didn't have a bundt pan, I made them in a springform pan - would that make a difference?
Dude! (dudette).. this is the first time I have seen someone make it like my family! I used to enjoy this as a kid (I still am a kid!), and when I visit my parents and siblings, we will make this occasionally! We use pizza dough from a local shop, but also put the cheese inside the dough and make cheese balls, then layer with the butter herbs and of course the garlic! BUT THIS IS CRAZY! I love all the cheese, and it looks like some crusted a bit, which is awesome. SO, yes, I will marry you. :D
and thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such a sweet comment
You didn't emphasize SHARE WITH FRIENDS enough...I made one and I was the only one in the house. It was a BADDDDD idea. But
