Even missile rich countries like Russia , Runs out of missile.
This is a hard lesson for india. India needs to procure large number in Tens of Thousand of short and long range cruise and tactical ballistic missiles like Bramhos, Nirbhay, Prahar so that forces will be able to completely saturate air defences of any of our neighbours.
And how you get so much money to buy a very large no of missile then to managed them.
Iran aur Houthi kabhi run out nhi kiye Russia krgya?
West is spreading misinformation
@@renegadeone9479 Iran and Houthi is not carrying out an all-out war sending few missiles every couple of months. They are like a irritation rather than a strategic risk. Technological advancement is the only way India can keep off China.
@@Rakeshrn34 Houthis launch BM every 2-3 days on Saudis or Marib.
@@Rakeshrn34 Russia won't run out of missiles. They can double the shifts and produce heavy amount of missiles, more than China, Iran or North Korea.
Sorry to say but India me sirf RFI, Tender, Technology demonstrations aur Testing hote hai precurement nhi 😔

great video.... In India every process is very complicated n time consuming, testing also takes years n years...
but whats the point...in ukraine-russia conflict i have seen fighter jets, helicopters, armored tanks (all expensive) were so easliy destroyed by ukraine's man portable launch pad, which is pretty cheaper then all the above)... so better option would be to work on next generation portable launch pad with with long range...... Or, cheap next generation small stealth suicide drone...
It is such a relief to know that Indian Army is actively pursuing steps to protect its tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.
After watching the decimation of armour in the Armenian- Azerbaijan conflict and now in Ukraine, it was worrisome to think what will happen to India in a similar situation.
Alpha Defence is always the harbinger of good news. ❤️❤️
What the sense to protect 80s tech, u want them to put aps on those shitty 80s bmp 2. And t72s. Or a light tank that doesn't exists yet.
@@t.s.p1864 Looks like your mom had an overdose of pessimism right before you're born.

Its Good To See That Indian Army Is Taking Steps To Improving Its Technological Advancements !!!

Javelin proof, why can't we focus on threats that are beyond these?
Like swarm drones and DEW.

No company is gonna develop any army equipment without govt. Support, period.
Kalyani, Mahindra, Tata, Reliance and L&T all of them have a prototype
Infact kalyani has 4-5 types
@@AlphaDefenseHindi and army will release requirements that Won't match their product specification. Sorry for being too cynical but I have almost no hope that army takes any indigenization effort seriously. Arjun and INSAS saga has left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. However, I can put my faith on air force and navy.
Can we make our tanks capable of taking down drones too , by adding micro missile systems in them?🤔
Better choice is durga.
VSHORADS systems hai uske liye.
Jeep mounted Manpads, Direct Energy Weapon or CIWS.
@@renegadeone9479 i am talking about the tanks which are exposed like we r seeing in the current ukraine crisis.
@@maverick8396 Missiles are going to be atleast 1-2 m long ( Manpads are this long)
Any small missile will be useless against drones, either lacking in payload or fuel to cover short distances.
That's why we use combined arms. Tanks don't move alone, they move with mobile AD systems.
@@renegadeone9479 but still there could be something done to address their vulnerability🤔🙄
JAI HIND 🇮🇳 🇮🇳 🇮🇳
Protection against Javelin would be of great help to our Arms Force.
Also from ukraine war they should understand that normal people of India must be given mandatory army training so that in case of crisis they can also contribute
@John Hero yes 1.3 million active army but china has 2.3 million active army. Though India's paramilitary is more than china.. wat I am telling is to trim a chunk of army a bit and in place of it give training to a chunk of normal people . This will save money in terms of salary and more weapons can be purchased from the save money. Also we will have many more army personal in our country which can always be worthy in case war breaks out against a country which has many more weapons and also very advanced one such as laser, swarm drones, microwave weapons etc
@John Hero you cannot be an army person in few hours and win the war against a professional army
@subash bist did i say that Indian citizen does not have any role to play anywhere.
Jai hind
Lessons from Ukraine also includes the following:
use of Stinger missiles to shoot down helicopters and low flying aircraft
Use of Armed Drones like Bayraktar drone to blow tanks and armored vehicles.
@John Hero 🤣🤣
The biggest problem Russia faces is its auto loader in its tanks/ammunition storage, when top attack munitions, like atgms and drones explode over the thinly armored turrets, the whole turrets/tanks are fully blown away. India should adopt, armoured ammunition storage as in M1A1 abrams.
No, it will increase need for personnel in tanks and Indian Armed Forces are trained to use russian weapon. Changing it right now will create havoc
It's a thing of the past now with the Armata which even has a separate crew capsule
@@coolkal7590 where is Armata? on design board?
@John Hero bro nothings gonna happen the users and thier tactics also sometime seems foolish, its high time they should start developing something like armata platform, three man crew sitting in the Hull, and completely remote turret, and autoloader, put apfsds rounds in Hull, and HE rounds in turret rear. This concept should be applied to tanks, ifvs.
@@coolkal7590 so what happens when the top of the gets hit the crew will get roasted, with no options to get out of the vehicle.
When u go deep into other's territory u cannot replenish fuel, ammo aps etc. If a tank faces 4 to 6 bazooka rounds then APS is consumed and u have an atgm hit
Tactics situational awareness by use of drones, logistic support, morale, probing attacks, local population support are equally important while battle group moves into contested territory
I am planning a milty stage plan to hop into , military autonomous vehicles and drones buisness , startup will mainly focus on concept/product and research development , and the gol is to work like a RnD lab , rather than a high input manufacturing factory
I already said from past 5 years...develop smart weapons not big weapons. Because sword cannot do that much damage as much as a needle can do in smart war. Russia has mostly developed large and destructive weapons but these weapons have some restrictions, cannot use unless big scale war has been declared...whereas in Ukraine war...stinger missile, ATGM etc..low cost weapons are making big impact. Indian defence company and forces needs to understand this.
Thanks to weet world which is supplying Ukraine weapons free of cost. Else Ukraine would have been bankrupt with in weeks even purchasing small, smart weapons like ATGMs.
But you are missing a major engagement scenario ie this conflict is urban conflict.i wonder why didn't ruskis used bmpt terminator. They seem to apply same tactics they tried against chechens but ukarines got backing. Atgms and nlaws gets huge advantage in urban combat. That was visible in Syria too.
My favourite defense channel
Bhai how about explaining how the active protection works.
We have lots of info available on how javelin works but almost nothing on how active protection works.
Very good Enformissn sir ji good music
It's means Russian army ko india se training lene ki jarurat hai 🙂
Yeah they don't have experience of dividing the countries and changing the map
Private will invest millons to create world class thing, then AI babu will say we want moon and Mars compatible and after delying for ages will buy 10 to 50 pcs saying budget cuts can't buy. Killing the whole private defence sector example triple s defence .

Indian War planners analysts and strategists must learn fast and rapidly from this war in Ukraine and before in Armenia..and prepare accordingly....
Army should make ACV,s that is able to operate at a distance of atleast 300 to 400km with satlink the ACV can be a unmanned tank so even if get destroyed there will be no casualties, it can be helpful in attacking Pakistan where we can operate it in any corner inside pak sitting here in india from ground control stations
Look at the speed 20km/hr Still a long way to go For now it may be useful in urban warfare like in Muzaffarabad, PoK 😉
@@coolkal7590 but communication range is just 10 km will u put ground station just 10 km from pok and keep shifting inside? I believe role of this acv,s in current form is severely limited it is ok for antinaxal operations in local range but not for far or cross country
Tanks and all these kind of land based vehicles are no longer are battle winning tools, now a days a simple way to win a battle is air dominance.Later land based vehicle may use to protect and patrol occupied territory.
जय हिंद 🙏🙏🙏👊👊👊🙏🙏🙏
Electral powering can eliminate much of the heat signature these missiles seek the IR decoys will work better 4hrs seem pretty decent for the ACVs Making them fully autonomous is the challenge
@John Hero Those are already there This is a paradigm shift like aerial drones which doesn't take fighters or even choppers out of service Will for now be used in those circumstances where (pre-reconnosaince) manned forays may be risky
Pak China will follow TACTICS... similar to Russia in case they attack India....
India will have to gear up fast
India should prepare provisions of air deffence as per israile.
Feel good analysis and prediction. If Army actually will be able to equip all its Armoured units with APS that's the real question.
That's der intent
Based on Document they released..
@@AlphaDefenseHindi I know bro. I'm not blaming you or your channel, you are quite educative. My criticism is more directed at Armed Forces, their level of preparedness and their processes.
Need good air punch. Second drone strike before entering into particular area
only thing that can save you from ATGM are a good i mean very good active protection system.
@John Hero you just can't keep your tanks manuvering 24 hours...i do get that russians should not keep their tanks all bunched together like sitting ducks but if you sitting like that then you should have a great airdefence system protection.
When will Indian army will order Nag anti-tank missile?

War condition me electronically powerful nahi mechanically powerful equipments hi chalenge, autonomous se jyada manually handled tipical old school defence equipments hi effective honge
but of course a 4th gen ATGM could perform a complex maneuver and defeat any APS. I rest my case
Sorry to burst your bubble. ATGM s are not able to perform any complex maneuvers due to lack of control surfaces . 4th gen ATGMs have dual seekers and longer ranges which makes them a gen better than the 3rd gen ATGMs.
Please get your info right.
@@azrael6067 yes of course you are right. i should have clarified , i mean next generation ATGM's can be made to do so and defeat APS.
👍👍👍👍
Russians also tried an innovation of slat armour cages on turret top Didn't work so well But think this can still be useful if the cages can be made ejectable i. e. it ejects (based on a proximity sensor) & meets the incoming missile at a greater height above the tank top (may even manage to deviate the missile) The 2nd blow of the tandem charge will be taken care of by the ERA

That is great bt army should also ask for some kind of bolt on kit ,so that it can fit that kits to decommissioned tanks n vehicles. It will better as per Economics
Do u have any idea why Russia is not using T 14 Armata? They are quite best in the world
Not many made And preserving their best for NATO
Apne Bharamos mis fire vale video me kaha tha ki Bhramos missile me self distract capability hoti lekin bad me pata chala ki bhramos me function nahi hai. Esi chizo ko acknowledge karna chahiye in future videos apko.

Has the Indian Army placed orders for the Nag-MPATGM?

Yeah but by then the ATGM shooters will be fired back at
two big lessons would be more suitable title
Which system has been selected for the hard kill that is going to be implemented in mbts..?? What is its current status?
Currently indian tanks do nt hv any active protection system.
Does Indian army has its own RATNIK PROGRAMME like of Russia ?....plz make a video on it.
From where you get this information please share
Kab tak aps lag jayga?
T90 ms order diya tha. Kya hua?
Mucky terrain also a problem.
Hamare pas bhi javelin ka equivalent hai na?
Russia Armata Ko dekhna padega
But there is need to make our aircraft also Stinger missile proof. What Indian defence forces are doing in that direction.
That's not a problem Fly high & use PGMs Particularly in the SEAD-DEAD phase Helis will always be more vulnerable
❤️
There is a greater need for mechanization of Indian Army Units which is where I feel we can & should make TATA Kestrel an Integral part of our Warfare Doctrine.
Idk why orders have not been placed yet but I can only hope that we soon place mass orders for Kestrel & it doesn't go the Arjun way.
Someone yesterday had given a good suggestion in which they had suggested that can NAMICA turret be installed over Kestrel Chassis to make it a specialised Tank Destroyer. We should possibly explore this opportunity. It will bring greater ease in the Logistics chain with same platform being used for both secured Troops Transportation & as a Tank Destroyer. Although before that I hope we induct atleast a small number of NAMICA into the Army for short term use.
Indian politicians bureaucrats and public ke baare me to pata hi hai issko induct karte karte 20 saal lag jayenge
As if men in uniform aren't curropt??
What is point to acquire latest weapons if they cannot be used against China who has snatched 100 miles of area from Indian Army?
You need to go back to school to learn atleast basic maths before you come back here..
Area denial capabilities are easy to build
Why not provide bmp2 too active protection instead of pacive protection, particularly since they would be carrying troops ?
Where is the afganit APS ??
Soft kill APS kya hota h?
how soft kill functions in APS for fire and forget missiles , projectiles and bullets
@John Hero yes any alternatives for projectiles safeguards which can be deployed?
For me tanks and armored vehicles are waste after russia ukraine war. Buying maximum javline should be only learning from this war
for defender..not for attacker
Just ask yourself
If you had to get into urban center of enemy.. how you gonna do that ? Slinging ATGM like rambo ?

How does NLAW penetrate armour during it's top attack mode?
It’s a downward exploding H.E.A.T round with a proximity/magnetic fuse.
does it have enough energy to penetrate armour ?
Because it explodes at quite a distance away from its target
@@girishborah2619 Yes. The armour on the top of the turret is thinnest and there are sights, hatches etc etc. Russians have been improvising ‘cope cages’ on top of the turrets to keep the blast away from the top of the turret but it doesn’t seem to have worked. Lots of knocked out tanks with ‘cages’ on the turrets.
Nlaws are especially made to defeat russian tanks. Russia tanks have weakest armour at the top compared to all Western adversary tanks.
