What cutting edge technology u talking about by the way we are still using 1970's old cryogenic engine technology, we don't have enough patents as per our developments this clearly shows we are miles behind the west. Research and development needed from the IITs at the large scale, more IITs are needed atleast 50 must be there

@@hamzaafzal1027 Do you realize what you are asking for? It was debris of a Rocket, how is it a threat if all the space agencies are aware of it and tracking it from the very day it took off? If it was headed for any populated area or military installation, then it would have been interception by ASAT or Ballastic Missile Defense systems, but it's trajectory was already known and declared safe, hence no action was taken. Stop comparing apples and oranges.

Netra is for tracking debris in space. I doubt it can track re-entry objects like this one.
@@alchemist7412 as mentioned it's for tracking debris but we need to see that debris is also moving and it can detect debris of 10 cm size so might have potential application and also it would have optical sights and radar for tracking so there might be application of netra system, here things are told in different application and further used in different application and domain, so need to see, but it's just an idea of curious brain

I believe this is the reentry of a Chinese rocket stage, the third stage of the Chang Zheng 3B serial number Y77 which was launched in Feb 2021 - it was expected to reenter in the next hour or so and the track is a good match

Phase 1 can only intercept upto altitude of 80km and class ofballistic missile with range of 2000km. Most ballistic missile of Medium range n ICBM goes beyond mach 15. Therefore even after phase 2 India won't come close to defending against ICBM nuclear missiles.
