Honestly, I'd be perfectly happy if they removed Slowpoke and slowbro's psychic type and kept it for slowking (the only one that makes sense to be psychic). Because honestly I forgot that any of them are even psychic type. What's psychic about a brain that reacts so slow that they let shellder bite it's tail and it just excepts that it evolved? Psyduck and Golduck definitely deserve it more at least it makes sense.
Nobody mention how Bellossom is the only Pokemon to be single-type but evolve from a dual-type Pokemon. Also Eevee and Cubone (in Alola) are the only Pokemon to evolve into Pokemon that don’t keep any of their original types.

Golduck should only ever be on someone's team to be used as am HM slave and nothing more. Use Starmie instead. You get the Super Rod right after the Ghost Marowak and waking up the right side Snorlax, and can fish for one on that same route and throw a Water Stone + Surf and Psychic for a free sweeper.

Oh, and I didn’t know Skarmory was Gen II and not Gen III, because it’s so rare, I only saw it in Pokémon Stadium 2 to confirm its origins.

Politoed has nothing to do with plants. If it was shiny then it hypothetically being grass type would make even less sense than the normal colour. So if something’s green that makes it a grass type? Looks like rayquaza needs a third type too.
Honestly, I think Torkoal could benefit from a regional variant that makes it part rock type, but also has its own evolution. Next to Seviper and Arbok, Torkoal could really use either a regional form, or an evolution.

I got some pokemon cards from a friend from the Netherlands and for some reason over there, they made Gible a fighting type?! like its not ground type, its fighting! weridest card i have!
There just are no ground type cards so rock and ground go under fighting. Same thing with ice types going under water, ghost going under psychic, and flying and used to be dragon going under colorless

Psyduck isn’t a psychic type because Gamefreak saw the psychic type as a special type reserved for the most powerful Pokemon. That’s the same reason why they gave Lugia psychic typing.

My opinion is that they thought they made too many water-psychic types and decided to make psyduck's line pure water.
That's because psychic was too good on Gen 1 and there was already 2 other water/psychic lines.
Azurill not being a water type threw me when I first noticed it
