What has Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS' ownership done for Nice? Has it been good? Is the club better off since INEOS became owners?
Sam is joined by French football expert Luke Entwhistle to discuss every aspect of Ratcliffe's ownership of Nice to help Manchester United fans understand what lessons we could learn ahead of a possible INEOS takeover at Man United if the Glazers sell to them.

The Guardian newspaper has an article about Ineos ownership of Nice FC. In short Nice were a well run club with excellent scouting and they developed players for the first team and sold others for a profit. Ineos destroyed the good scouting and management of the club and instead of scouting and bringing in promising talent they started bringing in has-beens from the EPL. Nice FC were a top 4 club 3 out of the six years before Ineos arrived and they got worse under Ineos. The Scouting expert and coach and management departed and they were highly critical of Ineo's commitment and ownership. The atmosphere at the club was described as toxic. The Nice FC fans certainly aren't happy with Ineos. SJR announced that Nice would challenge PSG in Ligue 1 but they are currently 27 points off the pace. The Guardian newspaper said that Ineos are in it for business purposes and questioned their commitment. The newspaper also said that Ineos in addition to bidding on United had bid on Chelsea and enquired about buying Liverpool. SJR has run Nice FC as well as the Glazers have run United because he isn't a fan but a businessman.

Rat...cliffe has provided over decline wherever he has gone. Sky were the most succesful cycling team, but Ineos are now 4th. Nice were well-run, but now are a failed French Galactico experiment. Rat....cliffe backed Brexit...then moved operations out of the UK, into the EU. He's worse than the Glazers, and would have to borrow to buy the club. He tried to buy Chelsea, but couldn't get it done. He is a Michael Knighton...without the humour.
